(My mouth is shut, no spoilers here. And, ooh, I'd love to do a MHA roleplay. Granted that I haven't finished the show either, but I can run it since I've watched a good chunk.)
"Two hours, and then some," Kavaratti says. It's a bit hard to tell the passage of time given the dark skies, but he does his best to give an estimate. "Is there something you're planning on using this for?"

(Sweet! Can I get a basic rundown of the characters and quirks so I know how to make mine?)
She just shrugged in reply. *no idea, but its good to have. Who knows, it could even save our lives.*

(I'll try my best! Character-wise, there's ones like Midoriya, the green-haired inventor who started out quirkless but gained a super strength quirk after being recognized for his desire to be a hero. Alternatively, Bakugo, who's a very aggressive and competitive guy who can make explosions using his hands. I can list a few more too if you like.
For quirks, many of them can fall under classical superpowers, though you can have several abilities coming with each quirk. For example, controlling both fire and ice, manipulating electricity, and shooting lasers, in addition to the earlier ones. There's also quirks that mutate the body, with examples such as a frog person with frog related powers and a crow with powers related to controlling his shadow.
And, yes, ~foreshadowing~ we love to see it! :D)
Kavaratti nods, gathering the papers together with the intention of storing them away. "I'll keep these safe in there, and you can continue working tomorrow if you like," he says.
After doing just that, he settles in to sleep and pulls his blanket up.

How would you like to see a person based on a kaiju? :D
Im still considering which one. Godzilla is probably too OP, Ghidorah is DEFINITELY OP, and I want to use a main series kaiju from the Monsterverse, so that leaves Kong, Mothra, and Rodan. Or Mechagodzilla, but I have plans for a second character with Mechagodzilla.)
She smiled at him and nodded, yawning. She stored away her own notes and climbed into bed before falling asleep.

(Ooh, I would love to see that! That sounds awesome. <3 I'm most familiar with Kong and Mothra, but I'm excited to see any of them. Also, I'm thinking of having the land being Kavaratti's homeland, but it could also be another island, maybe with some dragons? :eyes:)
A pale orange morning looms on the horizon as Kavaratti finishes a quick breakfast.
"We're coming up on land today," he tells Alexis while he's cleaning up. "We should be able to see it soon, if you want to go up to take a look?"

Kavaratti steps up, soft smile on his face as he looks towards the golden sand and lapping waves. Small, simple fishing boats litter the waters and cove. Further in, a cheerful village of thatch-roofed houses stands proud from the hilltops.
"This is my home," he says, eyes lingering on the figures on the horizon before they turn back to Alexis, brown depths soft. "Let's get you settled in, and then we can introduce your work to everyone."

"They won't," Kavaratti promises. "Who you are doesn't matter to us, as long as you're willing to make an honest living."
A small fishing vessel approaches them, and the woman on board gives an exaggerated wave and an excited shout. "Kavaratti, you finally came back!" she calls.
Then, she notices Alexis and her waving intensifies. "Oh, you've brought someone back. Welcome to our little island. It's nice to meet you, what's your name?"
