Jace walked back onto the water, the liquid freezing. "Yeah, pretty much."

"Nothing important." Li said, looking down the beach to what seemed like a young couple playing in the waves.

"A bit, but I'm fine." she said with a smile.

"Right, well then... That's a shame, I guess." Mat stared at the ice freezing, he was still intrigued by Jace's powers.

"You sure? We can go back if you want." He checked, wanting to make doubly sure that she was good.

"Practicing with the bow." He said. "I'm trying to get better with it. What do you do when you explore the woods?"

He waved his hand to the side and a small snowman appeared. Seconds later it stood and began to walk around on unsteady feet.

She turned to see who he was looking at.

"Only if you want to." she said as she booped his nose.

"They look so happy together," Li said staring at the people down the beach.
