Kristine stops him from walking any more. She stands in front of him smiling coyly. "I think... No I know..." She paused and she looked him in the eyes her eyes sparkling. "I didn't say it before... I love you." She said looking down. She felt her heart started to beat out of her chest. She had never felt so good saying something before.

Nathaniel picks the boy up in a hug. "It's okay, it ain't your fault." He patted the boy's back. "Jules we need ta find his surprise.. now."

Jules nodded and started up the stairs.

Kara nods and looks around. She finds a plank and breaks it to a good size piece. She hands it to him.

Rick smiles. "I'm glade." He kisses her again.

Carl sobs.

Casey places the board against Simons leg. He ties the board to the limb with some cloth. "There." He digs in his pocket. "Take this." He hands Simon a pain pill. The man takes it dry. "Ok stay off your leg and it should get better."

Jules got to the top of the stairs and started down the hall she thought that Rick went down earlier. She stopped and started blushing when she saw Rick and Kristine kissing. She turned around smiling a little.

Kristine swayed a little. She pulled his arms around her waist and put her's on his shoulders.

Nathaniel smiled. There was his mom's happy ending alright. He sets Carl down and clears his throat.

Kristine jumps away from Rick blushing to the point of being as red as the blood covering her clothes. She bit her lip when she saw that Nathaniel and Jules had seen her kissing Rick then waved the thought away. She didn't care who knew she loved Rick. She squeezed his hand and smiled up at him. "Looks like Carl got a head start on the crying."

Carl was shocked. "Daddy!" He runs to his father hugging the man. "Dad!"

Rick hugs Carl. "Carl! Look I'm back!" The boy buries his face in ricks undershirt. "I love you Carl." He looks to Kristen. "Carl, Kristen is your new mommy I want you to be nice to her like your nice to Sophia." The boy nods his face still in Ricks clothes. "Now why don't you go find Miss Kara and cook some dinner? You can have what ever you want." The little boy nods and runs outside to find Kara.

(Plot hole! Rick used his shirt to bandage Kristine's head ^^ It's okay just thought I'd point it out...)

Kristine couldn't help but feel pleased that she was someone's new mommy. And it was extra Carl was so happy with it. She put her arm around Rick's waist and smiled watching Carl as he left. "I feel bad that everyone seems to have Kara watch the kids..." She said still smiling.

Nathaniel couldn't help but smile when Carl seemed to perk up more then he had hoped. "So, Mom, guess this means I finally get that little brother I kept buggin' ya for when I was nine." He said with a little bit of a laugh behind it.He nodded to Rick. "Ya better make her the happiest person here." He said pointing at Kristine. He turned around and started walking away to let them be alone.

Jules followed Nathaniel getting at what he was doing.

Rick looks at his undershirt (fixed it!), there was a large wet spot were Carl's face had been. "So what now?"

Carl looks around for Kara. "Miss Kara!"

Kristine sighed. "Well, we watched the sunset." She said holding up one finger. "We talked ta Carl." She added another finger to the ones she held up. "That leaves whatever ya want ta do..." She smiled up at him face. She started feeling a little dizzy again but shook it off. "So what'll it be, Mr. Grimes?" She asked smiling softly.

Kara jumps and spins to see Carl running. "What's up?" She asked hoping it wasn't bad.

Nathaniel was following him closely and smile to see Carl that happy. It felt good to get to be a big brother again.

Jules slipped a little and Nathaniel caught her putting his arm around her shoulder. "Thanks..." She said smiling.

Rick smiles. "Well let me ask you first. What would you like to do? You get first pick!" He looks around. "There's always the room again."

Carl smiles. "Can you help me cook? I don't want to get burned."

Kristine sighs. "I never had a guy actually ask me what I wanted ta do..." She saidd leaning on him to help her from feeling dizzy. They stood in the silence for a while. "Whatever ya want, Cowboy..." She said at last closing her eyes.

Kara yawned. She hadn't slept either night for a while. She thought for a minute trying to decided what to do.

Jules remembered that Kara had gone off in the night and probably needed some serious rest. She walked over to Carl leaving Nathaniel behind. "How about I help you? Miss Kara looks ready to drop." She said smiling.

Nathaniel walked over after them.

Carl smiles. "Thank you!" He walks to the back of the bus and looks for something to fix.

Rick smiles holding her. "No I want you to choose. We can go outside to the others, or we can stay in here and keep to ourselves." He hints around on what he wanted to do.
