Eventually, they come upon a hole in the ground. It's loosely covered in branches and moss.

For a moment, it looks like there's a massive pile of bones in the hole below. Then the 'skeleton' shifts in its sleep and snorts, rolling onto its wiry belly.

he backed up.

"Wyvern." She identifies with a grin. "A female one. They're bigger."

*is it gonna hurt us?*

"Nah. They only attack if they've got kits. This one's alone." She slips through a crack in the wooden top and hops down into the den below.

he followed.

The den below is covered in ferns and flower petals, weighed down and squished from the massive beast's constant sitting and laying on them. It's large- a bit larger than Rodman the kirin. It's a lengthy creature, with a pair of leathery wings for front legs and tall, lizardlike hind legs. Its tail is long and has a barb on the tip, like Kira's but not fluffy or decorative.
