The only home Electa had ever known was a cluster of low white buildings in the medley of nowhere, surrounded by a chain-link fence with razor-edged wire curling at the top. On the gate, there was a sign that said, "Private property, keep out at risk of physical harm". It hung sideways, dangling loosely from one screw. There were no trees, no ornamentation of any kind. It was sparse and somewhat functional, completely featureless.
Electa went silent as a vehicle drew closer. Immediately, her expression said that she was alert. She drew the gun out from the waistband of her jeans.

( much better xd. I had an idea.. So Alister tests something and asks to kiss Electra and asks her to think of any one thing she wants an answer to and the question shall be answered... )

Alister nodded slightly, " I bet this.. cully person is going to jump me now. " He said as he laughed weakly.

( So's... She asks when she is getting married and to whom. A few ideas are-
The voice says she will marry Jake at 23, Jake murdered Alister and so they kind of just ended up together. She murders him and ends up in jail.
She married Alister, but Alister killed himself due to depression later. Another one is they got married because she got pregnant, and not out of love/they fell madly in love before and after. Or, she never marries but almost did but got an abor. Or she did get one but married someone else? Or simply married because of love. Or course.. fate can be changed but spooking her.. You could come up with a question with answer as well xd )

(I like that idea...what if the voice said that she married a half-angel and they find another one later?? And it doesn't clarify which one??? Just an idea)

Electa stepped in front of Alister, but her small frame didn't do much. She listened intently as the vehicle came to a stop. There was the slam of a car door. Only one. Good, she thought. Slow, uneven footsteps were approaching; they seemed to hang in the air. At the sound of them, Electa frowned in surprise. If she didn't know any better--
"All right, who the hell's here?" bellowed a familiar voice. "I don't like unexpected visitors, so you better come on out and show yourself. 'Cause I got a gun and I am not happy."
Electa's shoulders relaxed as joy and relief leaped through her."It's Cully," she said to Alister. "Cull," she called, putting her gun away. "Cull, it's me, Electa!"

( yeeeessss, and she is like " Me? Marry a half-angel? NEVER! " and then the cabin happens xd )

Alister was a tiny bit on edge at the moment, he didn't want to die but no matter what he tried he couldn't change back. " Oh no.. I'm stuck. I can't go back to being a human at the moment. This is bad. "

( Lol.. Imagine Cully not entirely trusting Alister and keeping an eye on him... and then he catches him kissing Electra and she not reacting badly and just losing it. )

(Yasss! And yeah, that's something that would happen, but I have other ideas for drama.... we could do both though, that would be cool)

Cully was peering at them, his rifle held at the ready. He wore a sleeveless T-shirt and a pair of jeans that hid his prosthetic leg. He simply stared for a moment, looking startled...and then he started to smile. "Electa? Goddanm, it is you!" They embraced, basically pounding each other on the back. Even after the accident that had cost him his leg, the big southerner was as muscular as ever. Cully squinted his blue eyes as the two pulled apart, pretending to appraise Electa. "You've gotten even uglier. How is it possible?"
"Hey, I'm just trying to be like you," Electa said with a grin. "Cully, what are you doing here? We though--" Suddenly, she remembered Alister. She turned to Alister, and Cully turned, too. His eyebrows flew up. "Well, looky here."

Alister tried to smile but.. he was internally shaking. " If you are going to shoot me my only request if for you to not shoot me in the face.. annnd let me take a shower first. I can't fly away so don't worry. " he said with a weak, half hearted laugh. He really wanted that shower even if it meant he had to die after.. that shower sounded heavenly enough.

Cully couldn't see Alister's halo, either, so he didn't see a way to kill him. "Now, sir," Cully said, actually somewhat respecting the half-angel, "what are you doing with this reprobate? She'll lead you down the road to ruin, I promise you."
Electa felt heat creep across her face. "We're not..."

Alister didn't understand what he had meant.. so he just said, " Well, she's helped me a lot as it is.. I doubt she lead me to the road to ruin. And if I saw her going that way I'd pull her back before things got bad. " He seemed to be calming down a little bit now.
