(i didnt really have any plans, and i like that idea. and yeah, he isnt changed, and wont be. hes just nervous because he was a solider, and she was a sex slave, and... yeah, you get the idea.)
Mark continued to try to ignore her, but the longer he did, the more nervous he got, and the more noticeable it was.

(I was hoping they could be together. Besides, wouldn't it be an interesting counterpoint, a slave and a soldier becoming mates?)

Mark just turned away, scared. *i have nothing to say, ok? and i don't wanr to ostracize you, its... agghh, nevermind!* he shook her off, and sped up, trying to get away from Lily. he seemed on the brink of tears.
(yeah, i like that, but hes gonna need to get over his fear of her and her hurting him. and Lily pushing him to talk isnt helping.)

Crack! A rifle shot rends the air. Lily screams, and grabs her shoulder, blood pouring from between her fingers. A human leaps out of the woods, drags Lily's chin up with one hand, and held a knife to her throat with the other. "Don't move, or I slice her throat like a ripe tomato."
