The kit tries repletidly to go over to Douglas only to have Kai stop her.

Douglas's breaths were shallow but had a steady rythem.
"Are you going to tell us what you found or keep us guessing," Skipper asks.
Kai gets up and herds the kit over to Kaladin.

"If it's typhiod then wouldn't we all have it," Daria asks, "after all the crew and my family have eaten together and that includes Douglas too. Plus Kai got some food eariler."
"Besides typhiod often has contamination as the source and believe me when I say Douglas would not let that happen," Skipper agrees with Daria.
