"'Too fast'?!" Sonic repeated in mock shock. "There's no such thing as 'too fast'!"

(Am I right in saying that in the first myths about Pegasus the legend did not say he had wings only that he ran like he had wings on his hooves?)


Tails smiled, "I thought you'd like this new feature."

(I'm actually not entirely sure. That said, I know there's pleanty of old Greek depictions of Pegasus having wings.)

"Saying I 'like it' is a huge understatement." Sonic chuckled.

(Same here but I remember hearing it or reading it somewhere.)


Tails's smile broadened but he slowed down, "Sorry have to reserve fuel."

Sonic put on a fake frown. "Aw."

"Sorry besides I have a feeling Kini would throw a fit and a half if I ran this thing at full speed near his home." Tails spoke remembering the claws and size of Kini's fangs.

Sonic chuckled. "True, true. He got annoyed I even mentioned it. Then again, Press Garden's a nice zone, so I don't blame him."

Tails agreed and after a while landed the plane near the Press.

Kini heard another roar in the distance from the plane causing memeories from the resistance to flood back.

Sonic jumped of and tumbled into a snow drift. ".....Mm!"

Tails smiled a little not bothering to tell Sonic snow was just water that had been frozen since snow was just tiny little ice crystals.
