Rex eyed Ajal with suspicion as Clove nestled into the wolf's grey fur.

"In a sense if someone such as a head bad guy was to die the underlings would duke it out to determine who was boss," Kini explained.

Ajal extended a hand to Rex as well, "So what do you two want to do?"

"Oooh. Why didn't you say that to start with?"

Rex recoiled slightly, though relaxed a little once Ajal had touched him.

Ajal's touch was ghost like in how faint the contact was, "See I'm not a bad guy."



"I did," Kini muttered.

Sonic shrugged. "Mm'kay."

Rex glanced up at Ajal, not entirely convinced, but certianally getting there.

Kini heard another roar in the distance and ignored it.


Ajal smiled faintly and kept petting him.

Rex sat down on the grass, eyes closed. "....."
Clove made a small sound that was sounded more or less like a chuckle.

"So, do you still need me here or what?" Sonic asked.

"It's your choice," Kini spoke.

Ajal smiled and kept going.

"Eh. Tails'll get worried if I don't show up soon." Sonic said with a shrug. "I'll be off."

Rex opened one eye and glanced up at Ajal as if to ask 'What are you smirking at?'.

"When I first came here you and Knuckles both distrusted me to the point of near attacking me and now you tolorate me," Ajal answered.
