Kaladin nodded slowly and walked over to Douglas, though he kept a decent distance, not wanting to run the risk of the kit falling ill as well.

Douglas shivers and wheezes while he sleeps.
Tears roll down the kit's face then a look of puzzlement shows when the kit looks up toward the rafters.

The kit pointed to a shadow on the rafters.
Kai barked and an angered squak could be heard from the rafters.

"Sure," Daria gently takes the kit, "please be careful."
Skipper grabbed the book he was holding and threw it at Fisher's nest which knocked the nest and Fisher out of the rafters and onto the ground with the nest in bits and pieces with Fisher looking upset.
(I would never do that to a bird but I have a little experiance with nest removal.)
