"Okay, fine. Really, really, really, really disliked me, then."

He sighed. "I just really disliked you, but not that many reallys. Vincent would have hated, now there was a guy that would do anything for most anyone he cared for."

"He sounds like a really good guy," she said softly.

He nodded, hugging himself a bit with a sad smile. "He was ... at least of what I can remember ... He was my best friend, until ..."

She laced her fingers with his. "Well...at least you have some good memories of him, right?"

He gently squeezed her hand, nodding as he shut his eyes tightly. He missed his brother so much, the one person that hadn't cared what he was. At least before Electa.

You'd think that a cabin in the middle of nowhere, with no TV or electricity, would be a place where you'd start to go pretty seriously stir-crazy soon. But it was the exact opposite. Being with Vex, in a place where they could relax instead of being constantly on the run, was just...magical.

And he was a lot more open now, not weary or tense. He soon opened his eyes and they where calm and, even though a little sad, pleasent. There was a new hint of love in them, and it was for Electa. And Electa alone.

She smiled, knowing all too well the hint of sadness hiding in his eyes

He was so tempted to kiss her, they where so close and alone. Not like he had to worry about any one judging. He had to use as much of his will as he could to keep from just kissing her right then and there.
