She chuckled. "No, I was joking. Mostly."

Alister smiled a bit, " So.. we should get going while there is daylight. "

"Yeah. Sorry. Let's get this over with." She gets in the car

He just nodded, he too just wanted to be over with this.. and, he had connections to get another apartment and job.

She didn't know. As soon as he was in the car she was off, heading towards New Mexico

Alister pulled out an old looking DS and started to play on it, he kept the music off though so it wouldn't disturb Electra from driving. It was an older Zelda game.

She figured he was busy with his DS and so she didn't try to make conversation. All she said was, "If you don't mind, we're not going to stop at a hotel until we get there, okay?"

" That's alright.. I packed a very comfortable blanket. " He said with a very slight grin. He, though faking happiness, seemed just the tiniest bit sad.

( Haha.. "hotel", right. More like secluded cabin~ )

She just nodded. She drove. A few, long, dragging days later, they were in the middle of what seemed absolute nowhere.

Alister was barely able to keep calm.. he wanted a shower so badly. It had been too many days without a shower, and he was slowly going insane.. but he looked okay, unless you looked him in the eyes at least.
