By the time you began stroking the creature you though you could hear someone in the woods and Minka jumpd to her feet short sword in hand...

Kuro's ears perked forward as her spoke his voice slow and soft " Minka.... It's me.."

Minka flicked her ears and put down the sword " You're clear Kuro..." she said her voice in a matching tone to his.

At that Kuro Grabbed Hunters hand and Walked into the clearing

Minka glance at Jay and nodded that he could Go hid if he wanted too, seeing as he was uncomfortable

Jay shrugged and took the other short sword, throwing it at Minka so she had a pair. He decided to watch and wait.

He nodded and did as she said, you eventually made it back on flattish ground and could walk the rest of the way

Roan chuckled and nodded " Yeah.." the forest seemed a little odd... something about the trees made them feel alive even from a distance
