Indigo held up the 'scrap'. 'Oh, this little scrap? Found it on the ground.'

Aether sat on a rock, Tails' place just in view. His hands were in fists.

Leaf reappeared behind him, but did not go to interact with him. Instead, she sat and waited.

Cobalt fiddled with his thumbs, worried.

Kini sat back down outside he could sense the snow lands calling to him.


The guard frowned, "Don't make me take it from you."

Sonic bounded after Tails and jumped up onto the wing.

Knuckles stopped abruptly, then truned. "Okay.... Almost there."

Kaladin nodded. "Then lead on, friend,"

Aether's eye lens both flickered blue as he put his head on his knees, which were drawn up to his chest.

Indigo tossed it to the ground. 'There...happy, now?'

The guard seemed suprised, "Thank you." He put it on th desk.


Tails waited on the four.


Ajal kept up, "Why here?"


Selkie kept leading, This reminds me of the one adventure where we had to track Black Beard on your island.

Kaladin grimmaced. "Ugh. I remember that little adventure a little too well." He said, though chuckled immediately after.

"Because this is around where they live." Knuckles said dryly. "Clean air, clear water, safe location. Just through that cluster of trees there."

Sonic tapped his foot on the wing. "Hurry up!"

Indigo nodded and winked at him. 'Yep.' He closed his eyes as if to sleep. But he wasn't going to sleep...

Aether jumped off the rock, landing feet-first on the ground. Facing the rock, he slashed his arm to the side. His whip slithered down it and grew solid, like a rounded katana. Gripping it tightly, it glowed an intensifying blue. Slashing it sideways, it sliced through the rock like a hot knife through butter. The large slab struck the ground with a large thud.

Leaf's eyes widened as she stepped back. That was more than she had expected...

Cobalt jumped at the thud. 'Do you think Aether's...okay?' he asked, motioning outside.

Selkie shivered, Yeah that was not fun especially after the cliff Black Beard and I were fighting on crumbled.


Ajal nodded, "So what are chaos?"


"Waiting on Aether," Kini growled, "Know what I'll go find him." At that Kini got up and went to go find the angry robot.

"Well, there was no way you could have told it was unstable, being sea goers..." Kaladin commented.

Knuckles slipped into the trees. "Come see for yourself."

Sonic shrugged. "Go ahead."

Aether stood in the same spot, staring at the rock with a blank gaze, not seeming to notice the Emerald's power slowly taking him in.

Cobalt grabbed a dagger from his belt. 'Yep. He needs to be checked on.' He jogged out to where he thought Aether was.

Indigo focused his mind. The rocks that the previous officer had taken began to melt and run, forming four small columns from each.

Leaf mentally slapped herself. She should have fixed this earlier. Stepping forward, meaning to get the Emerald's coursing out, she found herself flung backward, slamming into a tree. Looking around, dazed and surprised something had hit her, she saw a dull blue glow surrounded her. The Emerald didn't want her to interfere.
