The guard swapped out with another after fifteen minutes.
"Okay then I'll leave," Kini went to walk out the door.

Aether stared after him, confused. His left eye lens glowed a stronger blue, catching Leaf's attention.
Leaf got ready to restrain Aether, just in case the energy overcame him.
Cobalt watched Aether, wary. Who knew what he would do? He peered at Aether's face. Wait. Why is his lens..blue? he thought. Neither of us have a function with that shade...
Indigo opened his palm and looked at it. Inside, there was a small fleck of metal. It looked useless until he smiled.

Aether walked forward, and then went past Kini. Going through the door, he muttered, 'I'll be back later.'
Cobalt's tail swished, nervous. 'Uhm. Should I...go after him? He might hurt something.'
Leaf shook her head. 'I can go. Besides, I'm sure I know what's...causing...,' she cleared her throat, remembering Cobalt didn't know about the Emerald. 'Never mind.' She vanished in a puff of green mist, teleporting to Aether.
Indigo rotated it in his hand, feeling the guard's gaze.

Kini nodded keeping his face emotionless, "Sorry but I am needed in the snow lands."
