"It's not that I don't but,has this type of thing happened before?" He said,Fatespeaker pausing and looking up at Puck with the same question in her glassy purple eyes. "Rrrr~?"

"Look. The Ice prince is already looking for it. Not a lot we can do, there." At his protest, he waved a hand airily. "The war is going to start with or without us, Jason. It's nothing new. Winter and Summer have always been at odds. Not a century goes by that there isn't some kind of fighting going on. This will pass like it always does. Somehow, the scepter will be returned, and things will go back to normal."
The mortal world, however...Mab said there would be a catastrophe if Summer held the scepter longer than it was supposed to. What if the Iron King has it???

"Lord iceyness may be on it,but is the absence of the scepter normal? Isn't this going to effect the humans? Is this going to change anything,especially since the Iron kingdom is now a new contender in this ring of war?" He began pacing a bit,tail twisting into knots here and there over and over. Shade squeaked against the pacing,flicking a talon out and waving it as to say 'Please stop'. "I'm not one to just stand by when I see something I can help with....even if I can't that is.I still...don't feel right not helping or doing something..." He muttered softly.

"Listen!" His eyes glowed feverishly. "This isn't a game, Jason! The crap is about to hit the fan, and you're right in the middle of it without knowing enough to duck!"

Jason took a step back,wings folding in tightly and Fatespeaker jumping in shock. "Rrrr~." Her tone was worried. The white dragonic letters flickered in a few words that Jason didn't speak. He lowered his head,giving a nod,tail in close. "Sorry..." He muttered.Shade popped his head out and looked with wide glassy eyes from Puck to Jason then Puck again with worry.

"I know you'd risk everything to protect us, and that's what worries me. You still don't know enough about this world to be properly terrified. Things are going to get screwed eight ways from Sunday, and you're making goo-goo eyes at the enemy! I heard what happened in Machina's realm and yes, it scared the heck out of me. I love you, darn it. I'm not going to watch you get torn apart when everything goes bad." He gave Jason a scornful look. "I've been around a long time. Give me a little credit. Even a blind man would see the way you looked at him. I'm guessing something happened in Machina's realm, but once you came out, our boy remembered he wasn't supposed to fall in love with a dragon." He shook his head. "I didn't say anything because he'd already made up his mind to leave. You might not know the consequences, but Ash does. He did the right thing, much as I hate to speak well of him."

Jason looked at Puck with confusion and stress,as well as hurt at the mention of Ash. He suddenly started blinking letters rapidly in words that he didn't speak,Shade hopping out of the pocket and flinching as he watched them,Fatespeaker watching too and both understood. "Rrrr~?! RRRR-!" Fatespeaker winced and tried to calm Jason down as he looked down,flashing them rapidly and tail twitching crazily. His wings pulled in tightly and his pupils turned slits,wings fracturing slowly more than before and reopening cracks that had healed a bit. He clutched his broken horns,not able to calm.

"Well," he sighed, "I don't suppose I'll be changing that stubborn mind of yours, will I?" He asked, looking at Jason with a raised eyebrow

"Stubborn is when your told not to go into the living room and yet you do because your running from a foster sibling.Stubborn is when your brother tells you not to go out and fight but you go and try to fight to save your little brother who just so happened to get his seven year old tail out into the middle of a blood bath!" He said,Fatespeaker growing quickly in size and wrapping her wings around him. "Paniccc.....a...ta...c....ssssss....sssss." Shade cuddled into Pucks legs gently,shivering despite being made of dragon ice.

"No, stubborn is wanting to go after the Scepter and the Ice prince even though you know how detrimental it could be for you."
