the man squeaked like a rat but he didn't cry out, "y-you a-are s so similar to our s-stacy..." he whispers and he then slips out of your grasp by turning into a mouse, all you hold now is a tattered shirt, he then runs over the edge of the roof and lands down near Meridian

"Meridian s-sir, students, f-from UA, roof"

Meridian looked at the roof and grumbles. " Moron" he sighs and looks at his companion "Order, Phase 9 trigger 2, flower"

"S-sir are you sure?"

"did I stutter Rufas"

"of course s-sir"

Meridian smiled at Bakugou "Looks like we must now part ways, first i will leat your classmates know that you were not harmed on purpose. and that you are safe and sound and they should take you back to school. Then i will continue my search for Stacy." he then hoped up on the roof and held his hands in the air.

"Please forgive Rufus, whatever injury's you have sustained i could patch up as an apology for his actions, you see his quirk has been modified, he has got some more things added to him then he should have, poor boy, you know he is only 6. the people who had him were going to kill him if he didn't sell, so i bought him to keep him safe." he looks at you both

"I mean you no harm, nor your friend down below, he was injured on accident, My name is Meridian, Meridian Norowareta. I am just looking for someone and have yet to find them. I will answer any questions you have if you would like." he smiled and took off his mask

Shoto looked at him "What quirks does your friend have" he had his phone out and it was on call to someone but they were quiet and listening.


"Rufus can turn into a large rat or a small mouse, in addition to that he is able to create projections of these animals to attack people, when hit by one you feel like you have been hit yet you don't see anything hit you. He can also see people's futures and when they will die and it gives him a probability of the outcome he wants, for instance, if he looked at me and though 'chance to die tomorrow' he would see all the possible outcomes tomorrow and it would give him a probability of me dying tomorrow"

on the other end of the phone midoriya was scribbling this down in his notebook.

She glared at him after his explanation. Her thoughts were all over the place. They had similar names. That might cause problems later. What did he mean that Bakugo was hurt on accident? She waited for him to finish answering Todoroki's question before speaking up. Her voice still hadn't changed back yet.
" Accidents are preventable. He wouldn't have been hurt if you didn't destroy the bus. Why did you even do that in the first place."

( I feel like your hinting that Stacy and Yanagi could be the same person. I feel like that could be nice addition to the plot, but if we do that, we should probably go over the basic backstory there.)

(it would be but Stacy and yanagi are two different people, they are similar, that's why rufu's said you are like stacy, but when stacy see's rufus or Meridian she will be confused because she thought they were dead too. Stacy thinks that she killed them by accident when she imploded)



"aah, to be completely honest with you, I personally did not wish to attack that bus, My quirk activated of its own accord and Rufus was trying to stop the bus in case there were passengers on the bus, like the boy, If Rufus did not stop the but then it could of had more catastrophic repercussions than that.If you go back around the area were my quirk suddenly activated you would find that 15 other people died. and all because i didn't take my medicine on time."

Shoto tilted his head "What does your quirk do exactly then?"

Meridian chuckled "My quirk does multiple things, Well, what happened was that my quirk that i was born with messed up, Those who have the same blood type as me would spontaneously combust, they would make no noise as it happens, all those who do not have the same blood type are perfectly fine."

Shoto "What about the other things?"

"I see, getting as much information as you can so that when we do cross paths again you can use it to your advantage? I see you are on call with someone, most likely taking notes of the conversation. well, i will indulge you. I underwent the same process as Rufus, just in a more controlled safeway, Both Rufus and myself are like the 'nomus' but we are not nomu." Meridian clears his throat "I am able to control fire, like yourself, endeavour, dabi and whoever else, except i can control it so well that i am able to create things with it. for instance a Pheonix or a dragon, i can make them with my fire and get rid of them."

( I see. I got confused when you Rufus said that Yanagi and Stacy had similar quirks when Yanagi attacked him using her claws.)
She listened to the explanation, then cleneched her fists in anger.
" Your story isn't adding up. We heard what you said on the bus."
She was looking him in the eyes now. There was no way she was breaking eye contact.

Shoto blinked and shook his head as if he had just escaped from some kind of trance and Meridian smiled

"Well would you look at the time, I must be taking my leave now yes? I see quite a lot of people heading this way that, if they do reach us, would be able to apprehend me quite easily. Especially since i have taken my supression medication, i bid you farewell then, Your friend, Katsuki Bakugou. His future is quite interesting, and Rufus saw wedding bells in your future Yanagi"

Meridian bowed and stood on the corner of the roof and smiled "till next we meet" he then closed his eyes and fell from the roof.

Shoto ran over to try and stop him but when he looked over the edge Meridian had vanished, Bakugou was still sitting there leaning against the wall of the building, looking a little horrified.

" SAY WHAT?!?!"
She had zoomed over there there along with Todoroki, and was a little surprised that he disappeared. Then she noticed Bakugo. She quickly jumped down from the roof and neatly landed a few feet in front of him. She then came over and knelt in front of him. She was worried that he might have been harmed, mentally or physically.
" Are... you alright?"
Her voice was mostly back to normal now, but her eyes were still glowing.

Bakugou shivered and shivered "h-he is a monster... they both are, they are more than what they claim to be... that guy said 'Order, Phase 9 trigger 2, flower' and that other person an off, he started turning into something horrific like a nomu but not a nomu...." he rambled a bit



Shoto looked behind him still on the roof when Aizawa and some others showed up "Whats going on todoroki"
Aizawa looked around slightly scared

"we tried to stall for time but they both got away, i got pictures of them and midoriya wrote down most of the conversation, Bakugou and Yanagi are down in the alleyway down there" he points and everyone starts to spread out to search for the villains, Aizawa and shoto come down to bakugou and you.

Her whole body had tensed up at the word monster, but she forced it to relax. Now was not the time to remember how often she heard that word. She looks up as Aizawa and Todoroki come towards them and gives them a small nod before turning back to Bakugou.
" I figured that much. No one who does illegal things reveals their full power easily. Can you give me more detail about this nomu but not a nomu transformation?"
Her voice had fully returned to normal by now luckily.

those who were with you and bakugou listen intently


"well, you know how the nomu's always look like they are kinda bird like, brains exposed, always a grey or a black, sometimes green."

Bakugou swallowed, his words a little shaky

"well, he started to look like that but then, he looked like he was melting, but he wasn't, he looked like a rat, but wasn't he got large, and wispy, like smoke, his eyes became like lava, melting yet not melting..."

he then pulls you closer to whisper in your ear

"i feel like i can trust you, don't tell the others but... if i ever see that again... i feel like i would not be among the living, or at least running the other way"

His explanation was a bit confusing, but she got the general idea. Melting but not melting? Did he mean like a weird goo or something similar? Then he pulled her closer and whispered in her ear. She was surprised by both that and what he said. She pulled away the second he would let her. She didn't like being that close to people without reason.
Other than that, he was acting kind of odd in her opinion. Kind of a 180 from how he was acting earlier. It was also different from how he had reacted to the nomu he fought yesterday. Something felt off. Not that she was going to let that show.
" It must have been scary..."
