Azrail steps back from the Dreamer before realising its tail was limp and he stepped forward, wondering if he could help it or if it was just the way it was.

The Dreamer hissed back at Jesse. It stepped forward, eyes darting to Oliver, who hadn't noticed it yet, mostly because he was watching a small silver bird zip around.
"The prince...? You bring straight to us? Hm, stupid perhaps," It growled in a silky tone, clearly playing with them emotionally.

Riley places himself between the Dreamer and Oliver, growling right back. His was a lot less silky.
"Well, it was that or leave him with no one and who wants to be alone?" Scarab says, their scales sparkling in the sun, a warm splash of color against the white and blue surrounding them.

The Dreamer grinned, watching them, clearly amused.
"Leave him alone... at least then you won't have to see him die. One way or another he will die," They hissed stepping forward, glancing around at them, "What do you say? Which way shall he die?"

"He. Won't. Die." Riley growls and launches himself at the Dreamer. He attacks the Dreamer, not wanting them to get past and hurt his child.
Azrail glances towards Oliver, wanting to help protect him but knowing that force wasn't his strength. He was more for after the fight, to help heal everyone.
Scarab looks discontent. "No. I say no to both. It's not fair. He's young and shouldn't die. He has so much of a life to live. He has so much potential. Why do you want to take that away?"

The Dreamer hissed, looking a little surprised but pleased, they wanted to fight. They lunged forward and met Riley, colliding with him. They tried to claw him, growling.
"Not me, the Queen. Ask her when you see here, if you can find her," They hissed.
Oliver jumped, spotting the creature. He yelped a bit, almost falling from the branch but using his hands to steady himself.
Mr. Lit sighed, not really wanting to fight but knowing he had to. He had hoped they would at least find the flowers first.
