Latte looked scared, eyes darting between the two of them. He was shaking, badly. He breathing was starting to go faster. He pushed his glasses up with a shaky hand.
Poli was about to hurt him when he suddenly looked away, "Oh~! Yari is trying to escape. Stupid girl, now I have to fetch her. I'll be back son, you can carry on without," He melted into the shadows, disappearing.

Abyss watched his father leave and sighed. "Aw man... Um,..." He looked to Latte. "I don't really want to hurt you, and I'm not that hungry right now anyway. Sorry." He said, then sat down on the ground.

Latte gave him a look of relief, but he was still trembling. He turned towards Chikatu as she slowly opened her eyes, looking around.
"Great, let us go," She hissed getting up before stumbling as she tried to put weight on her hurt ankle, "I'll... get us out of here Latte."

She smiled as Latte paled, "Chi-i, don't th-hink that..."
"Oh Latte, calm down," She shifted to her guardian form, moving forward, limping.
She was going to fight Abyss and make him free them. She lunged forward, still limping as she tried to grab him, electricity crackling in her paws.

He rolled out of the way. "Aw, come on. Can't we play nice for a while longer?" He asked, shifting to a cat and running over to Jasper. He huddled behind the hybrid..

Chikatu growled, falling down as she caught herself. Her ears turned towards Abyss as she growled, lunging at him again, not caring if she hit Jasper or Abyss, they both were the enemies.

Abyss yelped, jumping up and shifting to a demon form to stop her from hitting Jasper as he slept. He dug his claws into the ground as he pushed him back, his ragged wings spreading as he tried to tackle her. "Now I'm angry, no one threatens Jasper."

She yelped as he tackled her, not able to move away with her hurt leg.
"Says the one that's threatening me," She hissed trying to scratch him with her electrified paws.

"I didn't want to! I'm all for violence when I'm hungry, but not right now." He huffed, able to take the electricity easily. He wasn't fleshy, he wasn't a conductor of it.
