Oh I did know that! How about this.. polarbears fur isn't actually white, its clear but appears white due to the light reflection off of it.. so technically its not a color?
Pfft thank you

I didn't know that! How interesting, I'll be sure to remember that one ;D
Did you know that some birds can see ultraviolet light? Some species that look identical to our eyes can have extremely different patterns in ultraviolet rays. Even male/female differences.
I thought that was cool :3
Also scorpions glow under UV but no one really knows why...

Thats so cool! Speaking of colors.. did you know a mantis shrimp can see 10 times the amount of colors humans can? That means there are colors out there that we can't even begin to imagine
Th-.. They what now? Thats really neat, I never knew that, I wonder why they glow..

I'd heard that the mantis shrimp had the best eyesight of the animal kingdom, I wonder if that's what they meant! I used to think they were overrated, but they're just kinda freaking cool :P
I wanna see those colors ahh. As an artist, I kinda want to paint with them and see :000
I've scoured the color wheel to death lol
Did you know snakes have pits in their noses which sense infrared light, so they hunt using heat? That one's pretty well known lol
So how 'bout more on UV hehe
Did you know some flowers have UV patterns on their pedals, making them look like giant bullseyes? They're literally landing pads for insects lololol
Ye scorpions are really pretty under UV. They're teal owo
But I like scorpions so I think they're pretty anyway haha...

Thats cause they have.. 16 color receptors! Humans have only 3, id love to just see the colors too, i bet some are real pretty
I knew they used heat but I didn't know they could smell it, thats pretty cool! Did you know they actually have arms and legs? If you look at their underside they look like scales and are flat against your stomachs
Well thats new, really cool.. i wonder how they get the patterns. Did you know a cow has four stomachs?

Wow that's a lot of receptors.. mantis shrimp live in coral reefs too, right? I wonder what it looks like to them.
I did know that about snakes! They use this undulating muscle pattern to use the scales to grip and slide, it's so fascinating!
Snakes are actually really cool creatures, there's way more to them than a noodle and a head.
Speaking of snakes, did you know that they have 2 jaw bones instead of 1? Their jaw doesn't just go up and down like ours but can actually separate and become wider to swallow prey. They can do this because of an extra bone in their jaws that actually came from their ears. That's why snakes have such bad hearing and the reason they need the heat pits!
(the heat pits are just near their noses, I don't think they can actually smell light.. sorry I was confusing on that note haha...)
I did know that, it's so gross lol. Doesn't a cow have to chew up the food in-between each stomachs as well? Chewing cud is really nasty hahah..
Although, rabbits don't have two stomachs, they just eat everything twice. Think about that for a second...

Probably brilliantly colored, wish I could see it that way. Did you know coral gets its color from alge living inside/on it? Its not just like a colored rock?
Okay snakes are fricken amazing but they're still adorable little danger noodles to me. Well I knew that hearing wasn't the best and they can extend their jaw.. but from a bone from their ear?!
(Awe thats alright, dont worry about it)
Did you know theres an actual condition where in the brain some senses are crossed? So you can actually see colored from sounds, or taste smells?
I believe they have so many stomachs because the food the eat is tough to digest, so its really digestive stuff then stomachs are doing. Did you know digesting stuff actually really hurts but our brain says its okay so it doesn't hurt us?
Awe those adorable floors need to eat so much

I did know that! Did you know that coral isn't just in reefs? There's ghostly white deepsea coral known as lophelia. It's really pretty and my personal fav :3
Snakes are amazingly adorable danger noodles agreed.
I didn't, but that kinda makes sense? I knew taste and smell were highly connected, and my brain connects colors to letters and numbers, words and phrases, etc. So that makes sense! Imagine seeing color when your eating...
Yeah I think so. I haven't tried grass but maybe that's for a good reason lol And we turn our wheat into flour before eating it, and they just chow down on the whole thing.
Wait, that's so weird. So things we find disgusting is actually harmful to us? Is it like a hormone thing or does it actually tear us up inside? That's so weird...
Did you know that baby white blood cells attack the body because they can't differentiate between you and a bug yet?
The cuties~
