His color shifting scales turned pure white with fright as one said good eatin',and he felt like puking. He put his hands up a bit,not sure how to say what he was nor if he should,either way he was to scared out of his scales to say anything. He attempted to open his wings a bit to try and make himself look bigger.

"Take 'im to the chief," someone suggested at last. "The chief'll know what he is, and if he's safe to eat." A couple of them rushed him from behind, and there were blows to the backs of his knees.

Jason cried out in pain as his legs almost gave way but his tail swing out to whack them behind him with a growl,his scales turning dark red. "I'll tell ya' somethin',try and eat me and we'll find out just what I am!" He spread his wings out wide above him,their shimmering red enhancing himself a bit as he growled with fangs bared.

They growled and attempted to hit him in the head to make him pass out. He was obviously a threat.

He took the hit,and darn did it hurt,but he twisted his head and swung out with his horns with a harsh grunt. He swung his tail again,tho not with the stinger out so he wouldn't hurt them rather get them away from himself. He didn't seem to want to hurt them,just get away and not get hurt himself,but he doubted that it made any difference whether he wanted to hurt them or not. His gaze wandered once in a while,still looking for any sign of Ash,but still thinking there was no chance of the boy coming back. 'not like he cares...so why do I?' he thought.

They backed away, but they were persistent little buggers. "Stop strugglin'! It'll make it easier, and we might not kill ya if you cooperate!"

He so doubted what they said was true,he really did. Ash had acted like he had seemed to care,even a little when he had said what he had dreamed was important,taking his hand rather than his wrist...and yet....where was he now? He tried not to care as hurt blue tinted his scales slightly,shining on the edges of the angry red as he tried to back away,smoke billowing from his open jaws. Dark smoke,but it faded when it reached around his eyes so that it didn't go to high.

They continued to attack.

Okie dokie.) Jason tried to jump back but nearly stepped on a few,and for some reason he didn't want to as he stuck his arms out so he wouldn't fall but his tail swung under his legs and forced him to fall hard on the base of his tail on his rump. "Ah!" It hurt,darn it did,but he was dazed in pain for a moment,his scales maroon in pain.

The creatures jump on their sudden advantage and beat him until he passes out. He awakes stuck in a sitting position. He can't move from the position, as he's in a cage. A very small cage, made of branches lashed together with leather bindings. There was barely enough room for him to raise his head, and when he moved, something sharp poked him in the arm. If he looked closer, many of the branches were covered in thorns about an inch long
