Personality: Rui isn't the smartest person, but he is very motivated and head-strong to make up for it. He is extremely loyal, as he will lay down his life for his loved ones without a second thought. He often takes the the dad role in friend groups, due to his undying loyalty and extreme overprotective-ness. He also tends to be quite goofy, always trying his best to comfort and cheer up his friends. Don't let that fool you though, as he tends to be cold and snappy towards strangers or sketchy looking people. He doesn't trust too easily, often being more aggressive towards strangers. Overall, he's a great friend to have.

Backstory: Rui was born in Australia, where his parents lived at at the time. His mother, Yukio, was born in Japan with a fire quirk, and his dad, Robert, was born in Australia with a reptile quirk. About halfway through his life, Rui's parents divorced, and Yukio took Rui with her to Japan. It took him awhile to adjust to the different atmosphere, but he luckily was taught Japanese by his mom. He's had a fairly normal life, the only weird/difficult thing was his quirk. Strange quirk indeed, but with enough training, he was pretty good with controlling it. He was able to train and control the fire breathing part easily, due to his mom having a similar fire quirk. He had problems with the dragon part, but was able to control it by watching and reading. Now here he is, absolutely delighted with being in UA!

Quirk Description: Dragon is a transformation and emitter quirk. Once activated, the user will grow dragon features and have the ability to breathe fire. Their dragon features include ram like horns from their temples, dragons wings, and a large dragon tail. All of them mainly dark in color, with white as an accent color. They also can breathe fire, which can be really powerful if they train hard enough. If they breathe hard enough, they can also emit smoke.

Quirk Advantages:

- Smoke can distract opponents.
- Immune to most fires.

- Can burn their mouth if not careful enough.

- Once their quirk is deactivated after a long time, they get pretty tired.
- Body heat runs a lot higher than a normal person.
- The amount of fire that they breathe is tied to their lung capacity.
