Raven grabbed the crystal in his mouth and followed her quickly, wondering what she was trying to do. He had his head tilted and his eyes partially closed. He would never be able to get used to the sun, it was so bright.

Mimic dropped the glowing crystal at the group of dragons' feet. Hopefully, they had heard the deafening roar and could help her figure this out. She sat down panting, partially from fright, partly from running so quickly to them. She gave out a chirp to get their attention.

i turned into a prism as i investigated the crystal, recognizing it quickly, "a warning crystal, warns when evil dragons are nearby, glowing purples and blues when they're far, and greens and yellows when they're close" i say

A warning crystal? Evil dragon? She didn't like the sound of that. She whined and spun around before sitting back down.

"yeah, not good, not good at ALL" i say, opening my frill slightly and letting a small scroll the perfect size for me, fall into my claws, "normally, the crystals shine brightly depending on how evil.. probably not the same here, because we're all the only dragons here, so... the crystals will shine half their usual brightness, and be less affective at being correct..." i pause "GREAT!! just fantastic!" i say sarcastically

Mimic looked behind her at Raven with a face of worry. She wasn't happy anymore. She was TERRIFIED. At least she had others to help her.

He had a sad look on his face as he wrapped his tail around Mimic, maybe it would help comfort her? He hoped so, he hated seeing that look on her face, it made him feel horrible. He rubbed her back slightly as he looked down, trying to think of how this mess could be solved.

Raven put his tail around her making her feel a little better. She didn't want to die, certainly not when she was this young! Mimic looked down at the ground and squeaked softly. Her small claws dug into the sand and then released it.
