"It's a date then?" Gale teased with a warm and kind smile. "Should I have dressed a bit better for the occasion?"

Alec continued to blush, realizing his mistake. He cleared his throat and shook his head. "No, no. You look perfectly fine."

"Good I was a bit worried." Gale said tying the braid off. He stopped a moment contemplating whether or not he should say something more. He wanted to pull the elf close, to seal the deal right here yet he refrained. "Right then shall we?"

Alec stood up and nodded in response to Gale, quickly pulling on his coat and boots. He headed out towards the door, trying to get a few seconds to clear his mind.

The man waited a few moments before following. In a light gesture he took the elf's hand in his before starting down the sidewalk. "So what do you want to eat?"

Alec looked down at his hand in Gale's before looking at the human. He gave a light shrug in response. "You did suggest some sort of diner, I believe? The one named after the owner's son? We can go there."

"I meant what would you like to order from there?"

Alec thought for a moment. "I have now clue. I have no idea what they have available."

"They mostly have the normal stuff, burgers and fries. On Friday they have fried fish, Sunday's is chicken and dressing. But normally it's either waffles or burgers." Gale said as he drew his coat closer. "You haven't been out in a while have you?" He asked with a smile towards his elven companion.
