With the egg in one hand, you use your free arm to grab onto the cliff right before you fall. Unfortunately, you're not strong enough to pull yourself up with one arm. You feel your options now are to drop the egg and save yourself, keep holding on to the egg and risk falling, or continue holding on for as long as you can

As much as Hermes really wanted to keep the egg, he was the selfish type. His mind was screaming Drop it, drop it, D R O P I T.

And so Hermes dropped the egg in an attempt to save himself.

Hermes sighed in relief and mentally thanked the Beware for its gentle kindness. After lying on the ground for a bit, Hermes decided to try and go receive the egg.

The trainer clenched his fists, shouting for Phanpy to use tackle. The phanpy let out a battle cry before charging full force at cottonee
