"Oh, I see... what can he do?" Sam asked, taking out his phone

Janu made a noise and spat a strange green fluid that hissed and sizzled on the pavement where a mouse had once stood. The mouse screeched and scampered away, the liquid eating at its fur.

"That was, to say the least, pleasant." Azren said warily, "So I guess he can spew bile or something?"

Emile struggled to his feet and slowly made his way over to the girl. "Hey, hey, same thing happened to me, it's gonna be okay," he said, not bothering to add, 'i think'. His right leg trembled, not used to being the sole supporter of his body. He glanced back over his shoulder at the other boy, shooting him a glance that he hoped meant 'help I don't know how to comfort people'.
