Anyways, I'll respond once Oliver gets back to his apartment. Just keep pinging me until then so I can keep up. Plus I'm going to the local fair this afternoon so I'll be absent for most of today.)

(OOC: Quick ping to let you guys know I'm back. I'm kinda tired though so don't expect any fast responses from me.)

Once at the cafe the tom ordered his usual tuna sandwich and iced tea before he climbed back in the car. (he bought her whatever she wanted...) at home he thanked her for the ride and let her keep the car for the night before he headed inside.

"Thanks!" She waved. "See you at the station tomorrow, I'll return the car then. And I insist on paying next time."

Vince

Vince stood silently in the alleyway as he worked on his cigarette. Suddenly he caught the sound of an approaching vehicle and leaned forward to watch as it pulled into the lot in front of the apartment building. He sighed and stubbed out his cigarette on the sole of his boot before making his way swiftly and silently towards the car. Just as the driver was exiting the car Vince approached him and spoke out. "Good evening Detective Ramsey. You look tired, working late?"

Vince knew that he couldn't look any more suspicious than he did right now. Some punk he'd never met before walks out of the shadows and addresses him by name, yeah pretty suspicious. He didn't intend to go through with his orders to silence him, but still he had to keep the act up as long as they were out in the open. He kept his right paw in his pocket holding onto his switchblade, just in case things took a wrong turn.

At the voice he turned. "I-I'm sorry do I know you?" Oliver asked clearly confused.

Vince

Vince narrowed his eyes at the detective, he looked pretty out of it but that didn't matter much to him. "No you don't... but we know you detective." As he said this he pulled the glove from his left paw to reveal an ace of spades tattoo on his palm.

Honestly he had no clue what the male was talking about. "That's the symbol from the card? I'm guess the we means you are with the Black Cats? Does this mean in next to be murdered?" His voice was shaking now. Could this really be the end?

Vince blinked in surprise at the toms reaction, he had half expected him to pull a gun on him but here he looked about ready to collapse from fear. Pulling his glove back on Vince lowered his voice to nearly a whisper. "As things stand that's a distinct possibility detective, I'm not sure what exactly you've been investigating but the higher ups aren't happy about it." Vince paused and looked around quickly before continuing. "We need to talk in private... look, I ain't gonna hurt you I've got my own reasons for being where I am alright..."

"How do I know this isn't a trick?" Oliver asked backing up a bit. A hand instinctively went to his side then though the gun wasn't in its normally spot. What?! Where the heck was it?!
