I turned to my sister grumpily. "I'm fine." I grumbled, then turned to Gabriel. "Thanks, Gabriel. It's okay, though. I'm used to it, you know, Kaydan and all." I stroked Aura's head, smiling. "Besides, I had Aura to rescue me. She's great." I looked at Wren. "What have you been up to? Making friends?" I mumbled, trying to forget about the incident.

~Wren~

"Well okay then misery guts!" She spoke in a stupid voice, "God! They were just having a little fun and now they probably feel awful." Wren looked down at Gabriel and set a hand on his head, "Come on Gabe, we're going to go a little further back." They pulled back to where Morgan and Kayran flew. "Hey there Kayman!" She called out, with a hint of happiness in her voice. Gabriel sighed grumpily, "I don't like the 'Kayman'"

(Kayran)
I grinned at Wren. "Look at what the cat dragged in! The bird's still kicking, I see." Finally, Wren was talking to me. She was the exact opposite of Althea, no stick up her backside, no uptightness. She was so much better, and every time she called me, my day got that little bit better. Gabriel, however, I hated. Althea preferred him, and it wasn't a surprise that she did. He also had a stick up his butt, and he was always the favourite, and most probably always will be. "Oh, hello, mister 'Thorn-in-my-side'. Having fun? Oh wait! You don't wanna have fun, do you?" I sneered. I returned to Wren. "I feel sorry for you, Wren. You have to put up with this sucker the whole time!"

~Gabriel~

Gabriel muttered under his breath, probably something mean or annoyed. From then on he stayed silent, staring ahead at the group that flew onwards, actually bothering with the quest, he wished that Wren could be like this but her active mind thought of everything except the quest. It could be annoying but other times it was wonderful, the things he most wanted to avoid, the hard things, she could help him ignore them and go on adventures into the forests and through caves however now was not one of those times.

~Wren~

"So... You're Morgan right?" He nodded. "Great! Why are you riding Kayran?" She asked quickly, skipping straight to the point, slightly surprised that Morgan wasn't dripping wet.

(Althea)
I glanced back, to see Wren talking to Morgan and Kayran pestering Gabriel. I gasped, then pouted angrily. 'What's Wren doing? Making friends with the frog?' I asked myself. 'Ugh, she always does this! Whenever I make a friend they always like her better and leave me!' My eyes glazed over with sadness. 'Well, whatever. I don't need him. He's a slimy creature anyway. I'm better off alone.' I nodded, gazing off into the distance. 'It's not like I care, anyway. Wren can marry him for all I care.' I regretted thinking that. I shook the thought out of my head and concentrated on anything but them. Gazing off at the others, one in particular seemed to almost be leading us, seemingly knowing where we were going. I sighed with relief. At least there was one person dedicated to the quest.

~Morgan~

Morgan shrugged and looked down at Kayran and looked up to answer her, "Althea wanted to try riding Aura, so we swapped." Then he looked back down at Kayran's scaly back.

~Wren~

She frowned, looking at the boy who she tried to talk to, "You don't really want to speak to me huh?" Shaking off the thought, Wren stopped speaking, 'Fine! If that's what he wants then I won't try to speak to him.'

Viola
