"I have a map. Or at least I should. A few hundred of them... Ehem, I studied the land and we should be going this way." Selina showed them her book.

"Ooh! That's a loooot better than the old beaten up one I have." Charsydot said, fluttering over her shoulder.

(Sorry about that. I'm at a play and I'm typing from intermission)

"Oh... It may dissapear whenever I close the book, so you should keep your map still. I don't quite know how this book works." I flip through it again, showing Charsy the identical pages. "When I first looked in here, none of the pages were like this. I'm Selina by the way."

I think about my brothers. Marcus would be sad, but my older brother hates me. I know he blames me for the misfortune of or family. He hates that I'm different. I don't want to think about him, or his name. I feel like I belong in Solace. Earth doesn't have a place for people like me. I pulled out a piece of crinkled yellowed paper from my pocket. Mother had them all over the place. She said they were important. I never understood, because the papers were always blank. I unfolded the paper. It now had words, and it was written entirely in Dragon Runes. It was from Grandfather to Mother. I told the group to go on ahead to the queen, and I sat down under a tree and began to read.
