Josi glanced towards Amber and took her pocket knife from her boots. She slowly walked towards her, her light in her hand, and shone it down the path. "W-what is that...?"

Hamadi brushed it off, reading the text. "In the Medieval bestiaries, a creature is described as an 'Ethiopian Pegasus', according for Pliny the Elder. They come from Ethiopia, obviously, and are two-horned, winged horses."

He took out another book, and flipped through several pages. "In Islamic mythology, there is a creature known as the Al-Buraq, a creature from the heavens that transported the prophets. According to a text, the Buraq was handsome-faced and bridled, a tall, white beast, bigger than the donkey but smaller than the mule. He could place his hooves at the farthest boundary of his gaze. He had long ears. Whenever he faced a mountain his hind legs would extend, and whenever he went downhill his front legs would extend. He had two wings on his thighs which lent strength to his legs. The Buraq is also said to have human face."

The mouse immediately hopped back up and started pawing at a page, wanting him to read it.

Amber slowly walked down the cave tunnel, visibly shaking. Turning a corner, she stopped suddenly and went silent, completely shocked and speechless.

Hamadi sighed, flipping to the page.

Shams started barking and howling, loudly.

A long lock of white mane hair falls over the page, and Hamadi can hear a soft ruffle and snort.

Amber slowly backs up, sweating a little bit "Am... Am I the only one being stared down by something everyone things isn't real cause if I am, I need to go outside..."

Hamadi looked up. "Hmm.."

Shams started howling loudly, teeth bared loudly.

Josi slowly followed Amber down the path and stopped dead in her tracks. A Pegasus. There was a Pegasus standing right there. "A-A-Amber?"

Amber stumbled a little bit, staring in shock "I'm not the only one seeing that, am I..."

Angel ruffled her wings and snorted softly, gently nosing the book out of Hamadi's hands and replacing it with her muzzle.

Storm shyly peeked around the bend, tilting his head and watching Josi "We can hear and understand you, ya know..."

Hamadi frowned, but pet Angel's muzzle. "Hello."

Hathor burst out, tail flicking. "Angel! Storm! Pakhet!"

Neptune stood on a ledge,"You guys are loud, you know?" He shook his blue mane and stomped his hoof.

Pinto jumped down from the same ledge Neptune was on and walked towards Josi, flapping her wings,"Pet me."

Josi's mouth hung open, slowly lifting her hand to pet Pinto.
