"I heard rumors that there was a student nurse on the premises," Ina replied.
She didn't understand why that girl wanted to heal the bird. It would make for a good snack.
I'm getting tired of all of these strangers coming to me with their desires.

"I think those are pretty much the same thing" Pheina shrugged. "So, you had a dad? Like, a biological one?" She asked "I've always wanted to meet my dad, even if he did abandon my mom, maybe he'd change his mind once he got to know me and love me and be the father I've always dreamed of having" Pheina said, in somewhat of a daze.

" You wouldn't understand, i was abused by my father. and he let my mother die! You don't know how much that hurts! I have had to live with my father for ten years since my mother died!" i wasn't trying to but i started yelling and crying as my ears fold backwards and my tail swayed in aggravation

"That sounds interesting, so, do you eat by hunting too? I know it might sound a little odd, but me and my sister grew up on the streets, so we had to hunt for almost all our meals, it's odd, but digesting uncooked meat or just swallowing it whole is natural for me" Ethelyn told her.

"Oh my, I'm sorry to hear that, it might not be the best thing to say, or if you want to hear it, but I hope he gets eaten by hybrid" Pheina said. "My mother always hated me, she always blamed me for dad leaving, though, it really is my fault" she said. "If I was born human instead of being a monster, dad would have stayed and we would be happy" Pheina recited what her mother told her, her smile not fading from her face.

Zoe laughs as well, a low, sweet sound. "Either way, still super badass. You know...I bet this school, if that's what it is, will help us learn to control our powers and stuff. And find and unlock others, probably. Just image the possibilities." Zoe draws out the word 'possibilities' in a mock sense, waving her hand out and around, looking somewhere off in the distance clichly.

"Thank you so much!" Blue Yelled as she ran off trying to find the student nurse Ina had spoke of. "It'll be ok, I promise you!" Blue continued reassuring the bird.

"Or it's a secret laboratory that will capture us, take our soul and force it into a giant, no human hybrid that they'll use to get revenge on the humans. Y'know, just a possibility." She smiled.

Oh god. There was crying and yelling and 'You don't understand!' Kyle always despised yelling. Yelling was never good. He followed after Pheina, concerned for Luna.

Why did it seem like everyone had these horrible backstories? Kyle was fine, he even had a few human friends. Perhaps not everyone was as lucky as him. He might actually have to use his ability before school even started.

It made humans react in different ways depending on what Kyle wanted. It could make them feel depressed, angry, regret, or just simply make them feel better about the past. Kyle put the latter in his voice

But he hated it. Kyle's already crimson eyes went to a bloody color, and then suddenly, everything changed. His voice continued on, serving its purpose. But then, suddenly, he was even more analytic and observant. He could see further, and all living beings were being scanned to see their usefullness to him.

That was the dark side to his powers. He would turn into a cynical, smart, and careless person, much for fitting of the 'half demon' title. Kyle forced his voice to stop in the second verse of the slow song, and then everything went back to normal. His shoulders relaxed, and Kyle dropped the smirk. "Oh God." He murmured.

"Kyle? Is that you? You have a beautiful voice" Pheina said as she walked over to the half demon. "Hey, are you alright, you okay? She asked as she approached him, somewhat worried about the side effects of using his powers. She still had her same cheery smile as always, her eyes just as bright.
