Dapple Paw curled around her happily as he slept, feeling her warmth and knowing she was there for him.

Feeling Dapple Pelt curl around her, she brimmed with happiness and purred, letting his warmth envelop her frame.

SunFlare had stayed quiet during this dispute and calmly flicked SnowMoon on the shoulder with his tail. "Don't be so rude," he said. Looking at MeadowStream her said,"We will stay only if it is no trouble to you and you leader."

Dapple Pelt fell asleep, his tail curled around Crow Talon.

Crow Talon entwined her tail with Dapple Pelt's, also falling asleep.

Dapple Pelt woke up, his head fuzzy. Everything rushed back and he suddenly felt like a tsunami of feelings just hit his brain. One thought rang out above all else in the flood. I have a mate! Some instinct took over and he carefully got up, making sure not to wake up Crow Talon. The wolves were gone, so he slunk down and went to hunt.

Dapple Pelt slunk back into the hollow with a rabbit in his jaws. He set it down quietly and took his spot again, curling around his mate again. He sorted through his thoughts and feelings, managing to get a grip on things.

Crow Talon's nose twitched and she opened her eyes drowsily. Some instincts kicked in on her too, though more subconscious. She knew her mate had brought the food, and she was starving. She dragged it over to herself and ate with a gusto, devouring the whole thing in half a minute.
