They sat the the werehouses. "Where is she?" North cooed hopping about looking at everything. "Was she not going to meet us here?"
"Give her time North, she'll be here." Ase growled licking her front paws.

Looking down at them from above, hopping down from the warehouse roof onto a pile of crates along the outside wall, Chloe said, "Good, you found the right one. Great job, little bird."

"I've already checked through the windows, no one's here. However, it's best if we're quick. Come on," Chloe flicked her tail, beckoning them to follow her, "We can get through the broken window on the south side."

Sam didn't think his scowl could get any deeper, but it did. Great, just what he needed! An upstart with a lack of manners, impatience, and a need to fill a nonexistent payment. Why couldn't people leave well enough alone? Why did everyone need to be paid for even the smallest amount of work? Honestly! When a someone says no, it means just that! No! It doesn't matter whether they're male, female, or something else entirely, if someone doesn't want to do something, they shouldn't have to. Not unless it was necessary, and this was the furthest you could possibly get from it.

The todd stayed quiet for a few more moments to gather his thoughts before he spoke, "So this... Delta thinks that you owe him sex simply because he did you a small favor. That's quite a big ego for someone lacking that many braincells,"

He sighed, "Don't worry about him getting in here, not with all the Guards at their posts as well as the extras. However, as an extra precaution, I'd like you and Jackie to accompany me when I go to visit Chloe and Ben tomorrow in the Ryker Heights Hoodlums territory. After that, the tree of us can head back to our investigation in the office building. Is that alright? There's no way that lumox can fit in the vents, just in case you're wondering."

Katana Lifted her face to look at Sam and Jackie, her eyes looked troubled and worrisome. " I trust you..." she said hoarsely flattening her ears. Thomas took one of her ears rubbing it in a soothing motion as if he intended to brac her for bad news " Hey Blue Lights Mind if I Ask a question?" he said in a hushed tone Katana Nodded " Did... Did he ever... ever make you Play scars?...." Katanas eyes Lit up, and she stared at the air for a breif moment "Yes...." her voice fell like glass on a hard floor sharp and painful

The pigeon puffed his chest out to boast before the cat picked him up in her mouth to carry him. "Ase!" He cooed freeing himself before hopping onto her back. She followed the she cat through the window. "What are we doing here again?" She asked having forgotten. He stomach growled with hunger. Maybe that's why she kept forgetting.

"We're searching for any clues that might lead to the whereabouts of the Red Hood, the red-masked, adolescent human who frequently leaves food out for strays in the the Ryker Heights Hoodlums territory. He's been missing for some time now and they're starting to go hungry without the source of food he provides," Chloe said, slipping in through the open window, carefully minding the broken glass.

Jackie, still tense in anger, asked, "And, pray tell, what is 'scars'?"

Thomas still steadily stroked Katanas ear. "Its a Game to Delta but reality to the rest of us Is normal if you do something wrong or dont for fill an order... come back empty handed..." he sighed and glanced at Katana " He finds your fears your soft spots the things you care about.... and he destroyed them and makes you watch or makes you destroy them yourself.... " Katana spoke up her face filled with a fear like she was watching the past. but she continued " He may be stupid, but pain is a special skill he has... he can find it in others and pull it to the surface, and he uses what ever means are necessary to get what he wants. I may not be able to smell now but I can still remember the first time I smelled my own Blood and the smell of him bringing in the dead bodies of those I cared about .... one.. by one.... just to drop them at my feet" Thomas piped up " sadist doesn't even start to define him...."

"Got it!" The she cat said sniffing about. "Can't smell much over the smell of gasoline. Nasty stuff." She hissed opening her mouth some to get a better smell. "Nothing, these human trails are all old." She spat looking about. "Find anything North?" The pigeon cooed to himself hopping about. "Nope nothing Ase! Save for this ribbon price but I don't think that that is what we are looking for." Ase looked at the other cat. "Could it belong to Red Hood?"

"Well, it's a good thing we have numbers then, isn't it? He can't take on an entire group, much less all three at the same time. If we band together with the Bristol Beasts and Ryker Heights Hoodlums, we'll have no problem running him out of town. It'll be just like what we did with Sebastian. Right, Sam?" Jackie said, her words and posture exuding confidence.

Sam deadpanned, "I ripped his face off, Jackie."

Jackie deadpanned back at him, "And you can't do the same with this newb? It takes a whole lot more than a sadistic streak and bare brawn to survive Gotham City. He'll be a thorn in our sides until someone gives him the boot. Whether it be us or someone else doesn't matter. Besides, you now you can do it, and, as you've said, you've done it before quite easily. If our luck is good, maybe he'll stumble upon one of Joker's bombs or Riddler's death traps and we won'the have to do anything."
