I love it! The purples and blacks really go well together, it's got a nice nightmare-y but dream-y feel to it! i love the poison apple one, too. But the spellbound one really left me...well, spellbound! i actually don't think i've seen anyone use the Iridescent Scales and the nebula hair together, which is weird 'cause clearly it works well! the colors are fantastic, too.

Yeah, i get the first-project feeling, i'm in the middle of my first one too! only 3vis though, i wanted to work my way up, heh. gonna start another once i get a test kit...

Haha.. i'm an ambitious one :D I wanna try doing multiple projects at once, and i wanna try doing a 6 vis themed pet project soon. But i don't know how to do any of that so maybe later. Good luck with your project!! And yeah, a testing kit helps loadsssss, it was the first thing i ever got, i knew it would come in handy. Now i desperately need diamonds for a stable -_- *sigh* diamonds....

Yeah, i like the colors a lot, people don't use them often. My beef with the Qitari is the scales, really, it's hard for me to find designs i like because the small scales mean more lineart, and it's hard for me to like light colored designs when there's all the small black lines greying it out. Not trying to trash the official art, really, i just have super picky preferences! The bigger scale mutations look really nice though, and darker colorings of the regular scales look good too. Not a fan of Morkkos or Draeyl either, really. But i like Lunemaras and no one seems to really love those? We all have our preferences i guess!

Oh yeah, i get that feeling a lot, i'll spend hours, days, tweaking a design, especially for contests, then i look at it a few days later and i'm like...oh god it's awful! But then if someone/the judge(s) like it i get all my confidence back! You have skill though, i only just noticed you used a brownish purple to bring the orange and purple together on the Spellbound one. (Dirty glasses AND phone screen, whoops)

I'm working on a themed one, all you have to do really is own a themed(i got lucky, i have a 3-trait boy), and you use the Advanced search to find mates and make offspring, which in turn get bred with other Search themed, till you have enough offspring to get a 6vis baby! Takes time, of course, and you have to hope no one breeds with your intended female or it takes even longer. Themed pets can get expensive for breeding though, looking at the Ruby Orchid Luffs makes me want to cry. A 6vis themed offspring is quite the accomplishment, even bigger if you're first for that theme!

I have two sets of mission pets, so that i can do both areas' missions, and i get about 90k a day from that, satchels included. I can get enough for 100 diamonds on the exchange in about 3, 4 days, so if you go for 20 days you should probably be able to save up 500 diamonds! Seriously considering spending some of my sacred commission money though...it's just faster...

Yeah, i like to do things a little different, i can't stand it when i start using the same colours repeatedly, it's so not creative! xD It's hard sometimes.. but i try :P Ohhh.. the scales, i never realized that. hm, guess you're right, but i don't really mind them :D Quitaris are awesome! I agree on the morkkos and drayels though, i'm not usually a fan either. But i have seen some designs of them that i honestly really liked. I looove the lune wings! But i haaate the glowing butt and the one that looks like it has a scarf twisted around it.. what was it called, oooh, oh! Garland i think. But otherwise i like then :D I have a design for them that i'm going to make soon, i've got the essences already. Have to get the current project out of the way before anything else though, i can never decide what to do next cause' i wanna do them all! haha.

yeah, i get that feeling too, though some designs i make really are quite terrible after looking back on them, no doubt. I don't know what i was thinking. I find if i get stuck on a design for too long, i have to leave it for a while otherwise my standards and expectations drop resulting in a design of lesser quality. Same, i have lots of mission pets so i can do all the missions. I've never calculated how much that makes me... wow, 90k a day. i only use the same colors if i like them SO much that i make them into a theme, like my dream battle projects! but even then, i choose where each color goes to best fit the best genes for the theme, and i tweak and tweak and tweak and i'm probably gonna redo the ice set lmao

I feel that way about Nytekrie, they're SO cool, but their genes are sorta...idk, i only really like the Moon Armor and Stardust and Nighthawk! I was actually gonna try to design some mutations for a few species, for the suggestion thread, when i got my other art stuff out of the way, i have some solid plans for Faelora involving head and leg stuff, but i wanted to give to some other species that've been a little neglected like Lunemara.

Yeah, i save everything i feel is a good idea but i'm just lacking at perfecting at the time. and if i still can't fix 'em, i delete them! and PSH i feel the need to appreciate skillful use of color theory, i always do! I also have a 2vis Sparkling Stream Vorpa that's been bred with a 4trait one, hopefully i'll get a 6trait one, but idk where to go from there OTL i have a feeling i'll be getting stuck with a lot of half-done pets in all my projects...

i tell myself NO BUYING/BREEDING PETS OVER 1000g TILL YOU REACH YOUR GOAL. AND NO BUYING ESSENCES OR MUTATORS OR DYES TILL THEN EITHER. i usually mess up and do so like 2-3 times but if i keep telling myself i can buy stuff AFTERWARDS, that helps a lot.

ah...hahhaa...hhhhhaahaha...if $25 to my name and living with/off my mom is what it means to be an accomplished artist these days...i've been meaning to try and push it a bit more on other sites, but without a like, fanbase, no one really wants to buy your art? even if you severely undercharge. ugh. so i really need to just draw more, tag better, and play the popularity game to my advantage. but that $25 is absolutely sacred right now, i nearly spent $4 on a fitness booklet but my friend was like nO I GET A FIXED INCOME LET ME BUY IT FOR YOU. which was a battle in itself since if it's not christmas or my birthday i don't feel i deserve a gift, i'm one of those people OTL

UGH they were 3.5k earlier! they went down to 3k again and i was like GOTTA NAB IT BEFORE IT SHOOTS UP AGAIN. Maybe it's because of the sale, people are using their diamonds instead of trying to get gold, so diamonds are in more demand.

They're my favs, but i also really like the fluffy cloud zolnixi, those are cute =3 and your gilt puffadore, that's cute too! And the aeridinis, especially the venus flytrap one. I like those colours :D What a wide range of different designs you have! That Eldritch aeridini is scary o.o

Me too! I didn't like the nytes at first but then some traits look so good on them. I feel they have potential, so do the morkkos. I have no clue what muts and genes i can suggest, i leave that up to the other people... sylestia is pretty good at coming up with nice genes and muts i like XD

Me too! I have ideas but i never have the time to get the colours or traits just right. I tweak each colour again and again because if i change one, another might have to change. And i make super small changes, it has to be just right :D I know the feeling, it's how i felt at first when i first started my project too, plus i spent a lot on those quitari essences so i was really scared i wasted them XP Also why i'm a little apprehensive to start a theme project myself. But you're doing great! I'm sure you'll be able to do it. Sometimes i get to the point and just have to stop and ask myself, what's next.... or i ask other breeding experts XD

The diamond prices have gone crazy since the spring fest. I thought it would die down but with the sale and the new species, i don't think that's gonna happen for quite a while, if ever XP I'm gonna have to figure out a way to get diamonds, i've been thinking since i started but i still don't have a solution. Maybe the only ways really are either real dollars or the 3k ><

Heh, the link to the thread is in my About! Yeah, i love that scheme a lot, gives a real royal feeling, especially if you use a bunch of glittery, jewelry mutations! I tried to match the actual Flytrap colors closely without making it all green. And it's supposed to be scary, it's an eldritch abomination! A horror incomprehensible to the human mind! Okay, maybe i couldn't get it THAT far. I've seen like, three other people with similar designs though, though they don't use the Flytrap tail(come on, that's the scariest tail!), and they usually use browns.

I've got some moose antlers already doodled for Faelora, hoping it'll make for a good idea. Maybe some Jeweled Fae wings and and maybe an ice gene of sorts. Maybe fungus for the legs. I'm not so good at genes.

Yeah, once i get two 3vis i'm gonna dye them before breeding them, so all the babies will be perfect. Once i get the test kit i'm probably gonna start the Zelda/Ganon projects, 'cause i'm really excited about those. Then the God/desses, then i have no clue which ones after that! I've already asked about what on earth i should do about getting a pair because oh my god it's so confusing the first time around...YES i was so scared i screwed up with my third Nixi essence, i decided to give it one trait and i wanted to cry because i swore i must've screwed something up!

The last thing i splurged on was a pretty teal Aeridini, she was 13k! But worth it, such a pretty lady with 5vis 1 carry? Other than that i keep stalking the Pick a Number threads, it's fun and i've got some fabulous pets that way!

I only got that much for two commissions, and only 'cause i have a decent amount of followers on a game blog that were actually willing to part with $10 and $15...sacred because it's all i have T_T takes lots of practice to get better! I've been drawing my whole life, and i've been drawing digitally for like, 5 years now, slowly improving each year. Takes time and effort! You already have a great grasp on color, i doubt learning other techniques would be too hard!

I do think it's because the people who have them are spending them; i mean, it's 2.5k and 1.5k diamonds for the bundles! The one that costs less costs as much as a test kit! So if there's less on the market, there's more demand, and therefore higher prices. Hopefully it'll die down after the sale, but it probably won't be normal till September or so, after the Festival...

That's exactly the feel i got! Very regal, royal, precious, colour scheme. If only there was a sparkly jewel type mutation for the puffs, it would look so good! The flytrap was also nice in that is wasn't just green, kinda reminds me of a watermelon though XD I actually love the flytrap tail, it's a little exotic which i love <3 Haha, well, you definitely got the scary factor, even though i have seen those trait combos which usually use dark eerie colours, it's still a pretty cool design. I must admit, i don't really like scary pets and traits like corruption and bony stuff, i admit it's super cool but i prefer the cute pretty stuff =3 I have a soft spot for anything that sparkles or shines... or if it's fluffy :D

Yeah! Those sound great! Especially the antlers if you can do them well and add some design to it other than just moose antlers, like a little bit of decoration type thing, maybe with a theme of some sort, i dunno xD The wings sound fantastic! I like jewels :P And icy stuff would look real nice too!

Haha, that must've been quite a fright, i would've freaked out. When something like that happens to me, especially if it's my first time, i have like a mental scar and can't do that thing until ages after i over come the incident. Happened when i fell off my bike, took me like a month to get back on again. I still feel uncomfortable riding the bike, but it's alright, i do enjoy occasional short rides in safe places. I hope i never make a mistake with an essence, that'd be pretty terrible, essences have also gotten so much more expensive than they used to be.

Teal has actually been one of the colours i've been using too much in my designs nowadays XD That iiiis a very pretty aeri! Would've been even better if it was another tail, i don't like perrenial tail very much most of the time, but it actually looks ok there :D Really nice traits though! I stalk the pick a number threads too >.< But not recently due to my stable situation, i have to control myself :P

mhm, it'll be a while before it settles down.i must admit, i really do like the new species lots, it's soooooooooo cute!! I wish i could a themed one of them *sigh* but that'll never happen. I can't afford to spend my diamonds on anything else other than stables. Maybe i'll be able to get a baby... :)
