"Feel along the leg," Douglas instructs, "I'll come up with you."

Kal nodded briefly and made his way back downstairs.

Douglas follows Kaladin, "Just in case it is a break do you think you could find something for a splint?"

Kaladin reached into his bag and pulled out two stakes. "I told you. I came prepared."

"Good job," Douglas smiles.

He didn't respond, but Kaladin seemed to appreciate the comliment.

"Go ahead you ow me a favor still so Skipper is your pacient," Douglas says, "good luck avoid his kicks."

(I was wondering when Douglas would call that in.)

"...Thanks." Was Kaladin's reply.
