For most that is,Jason has the tendency to stay on one track with his mind, similarly to how he usually is in a battle. He closed his eyes, fading into the shadows and seemed like nothing. Fatespeaker looked down, gliding till she sat there on the ground, sad that she couldn't have helped or stayed with Ash. She looked at her little talons and sighed softly, realizing for the first time she was only ice. She was alive, she had a heart and feelings and thoughts...but she was physically just...ice.Dragon ice.

Soon, Puck gets up. "How are you already up?" He asked. "It's still dark outside."

"The Multiwing was originally a hybrid, made from Ice dragon, camo dragon and Night dragon. They where almost wiped out because they where seen as an abomination. I and one other dragon are the only pure bred multiwings left." He explained calmly, stroking Shade's back as he purred and Fatespeaker quickly scuttled over to Puck and cuddled him.

Puck smiled and attempted to comfort Fatespeaker. "Ready to go home?" Puck asked, talking about the Summer Court

Fatespeaker purred desperately, rubbing against him like a panicked cat. Jason nodded, opening those hazel and purple eyes in the dark, giving away his position. "Sure." His tone was flat but tired. He let Shade hop down and scuttle happily over to Puck, stretching those little wings gracefully and waving happily an early good morning.

He leads Jason to the wyldwood. The evening following Ash's departure, Puck and Jason hit the edge of the wyldwood. "Not far now," Puck said, giving him an encouraging grin. A few yards from where they stood, the snow and ice just...stopped. Beyond it, the wyldwood stretched before them, dark, tangled, trapped in perpetual twilight. "Just gotta cross the wyldwood to get you home. You'll be in your new life before you can say 'summer school.'"

Jason had perked up a bit,Shade on his head and Fatespeaker always fluttering not to far from Puck. The two little creatures squeaked happily at the new adventure that would lay before them,a new world. They had been born in ice and now they would see so much more.
Jason smiled softly at them, having grown fond of these little things. "Thank you." He said to Puck, his eyes honest. "I'm sorry I couldn't fix the shot wound in time." He apologized, something he'd said over and over through the trip.

He shrugged. "It's okay. "I'm fine now, after all. Besides, it's the thought that counts," he pointed out, his lopsided smirk on his face. As they approached the colorless murk of the wyldwood, something moved in the shadows to their left. Puck spun with blinding speed, whipping out his dagger, as a spindly form stumbled through the trees and collapsed a few feet away. It was a girl, slender and graceful, with moss-green skin and hair like withered vines. A dryad. The tree woman shuddered and gasped, clawing herself upright. One long-fingered hand clutched her throat as if she were being strangled. "Help...me," she gasped at Puck, her brown eyes wide with terror. "My tree..."

Jason was shocked and he felt worried at the sight of the poor dryad. He looked to Puck as to ask what to do,Fatespeaker fluttering over and offering out a gentle tiny talon as Shade squeaked with worry, now in Jason's arms.

She sagged against Jason, her head lolling back on his shoulders. "Hey," Puck said, shaking her a little by the shoulders. "Stay with me now. Wheres your tree? Did someone cut it down?"

The dryad gasped for air. "P-poisoned," she whispered before her eyes rolled up and her body turned to wood in Jason's arms. With the sound of snapping twigs, the dryad curled in on herself until she resembled little more than a bundle of dry branches. Puck sighed, bowing his head, and gathered the lifeless dryad into his arms. She was thin and brittle now, fragile as spun glass, but not one twig snapped or broke off as he carried her away. With utmost care, he laid the body at the foot of a giant tree, murmured a few words and stepped back.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, huge roots unfurled from the ground, wrapping around the dryad to draw her down into the earth. In seconds, she had disappeared.
