Jason was roused from the faint daze and opened his eyes a bit,Fatespeaker watching as she nibbled a bit on the flower she was by. He saw the lights and other faery,realizing....the actions, the longing and how sad the scenes seemed....Ian? Was Ash missing Ian again? Jason felt bad, knowing he most likely couldn't help but slunk silently down from his spot and set little Shade down to keep sleeping. He used his reptilian side and slunk through the shadows and hid easily close by,watching. Fatespeaker chewed on a flower petal, though she didn't eat nor need to but could, and watched Ash with sad purple tinted glassy eyes.

Ash suddenly whirled around, his eyes widening at the sudden interruption. Seeing Jason, several emotions crossed his face--shock, anger, shame--before he sighed in resignation and turned away.

Jason's wings clung close to his sides, tail down and limp. "Sorry. I'll leave you alone." He said softly and slunk back toward where he had been before,Fatespeaker swallowing the petal and soon chewing on another before taking it fully in her jaws, hanging a bit,and passed Jason as she waddled toward Ash on stubby little icey legs. Jason didn't pay her any mind as she moved quite quickly, coming over and sitting 4 feet away from Ash.

He shook his head, his eyes never leaving the specter as he moved, butterflies drifting around him. He started speaking loud enough so Jason could hear if she would listen. "This is...just a memory." He sighed, and his voice went very soft. "He was always happy here. The flowers...remember."

Jason didn't show it but he did listen as he flew up and hung upside down again with Shade cradled in his wings. Fatespeaker clearly was listening and understood, scuttling over to Ash carefully and offering the petal up to him. She gave a small smile, trying to show that if needed she was there to help, that she would be there for the prince if he let her. She had fought well, she had put her icey body between some of those things and him best she could. She liked him,as a friend. She wanted to show that. And so in her tiny talons she held up the flower petal as she stood as high as she could on her hind legs. "Rrrr~?"

Ash knelt down to take the flower, and he put it behind her ear. This was Ash's memory of Ian, perfect, happy and full of life, a yearning so great it was given form, if only for a moment. Ian wasn't here. This was only a dream, an echo of a being long departed. Ash's pain spoke for him, as well as his loneliness, his yearning for someone who wasn't Jason. It was tearing him apart, and he couldn't say anything. Ash was saying goodbye, to both of them. Jason and Ian.
He knelt in silence for a while, watching Ian's memory walk among the flowers, his gossamer hair rustling in an invisible wind, bright motes swirled around him. "I'm leaving," Ash said quietly. He finally turned to face Jason, solemn, beautiful, and as distant as the stars. "Have Goodfellow take you home, or go back with him. It isn't safe here any longer."

Jason was watching him with hazel and purple eyes that had a reptilian intelligence to them and showed emotions that had been pushed down and beaten. He said nothing, just there. Silent and intent yet hurt and sorrowful despite how his pupils where slits. "Was it ever really safe? I've not seen any of the past events as safe...I haven't seen anything so far....safe." He whispered, those white markings glowing softly in a pained way. Fatespeaker smiled gently to Ash and came over, fluttering up to him and squeaking out some words best she could. "Fate....ssssstttaayyy....with....ppprrrinnnccccccee."

"You can't stay with me," he sighed. He shook his head, once. "I wasn't fair to you," he murmured, now talking to Jason. "I knew the laws, better than anyone. I knew it would end...like this. I ignored my better judgment, and for that, I'm sorry." His voice didn't change. It was still calm and polite. "But, after tonight, we'll be enemies. If I see you again, I might kill you." His eyes narrowed, and his voice turned cold. "For real this time, Jason." He half-turned, as if to leave. The glow of the flowers made a halo of light around him, only accenting his unearthly beauty. In the distance, Ian stood, sorrow and pain and the trials of the living. "Go home, Jason," murmured the Unseelie prince. "Go home, and forget. You don't belong here."

Jason sighed and lowered down from his hanging position,Shade cradled in his arms. He stared down before nodding. " I wish you killed me at first...you don't deserve any of this pain." He murmured under his breath before camouflaging and seeming to fall into the shadows like water to water, sinking in like he was meant for it,eyes elegantly watching Ash still. Pain, hurt and desperateness in the deep hazel and rich purple. "I'll never regret going in that alley....some was worth it...even if I got a faint glimpse...of what others call love." His voice was dragon tone and soft, almost silent. Fatespeaker felt like she hadn't been payed mind to and fluttered two inches back. "P...ple...ase...."

The next thing she knows, he's gone, nowhere in sight, which was probably for the best. Out of sight out of mind, right?
