Nick kind of clings to him. "Don't leave me alone..."

"My love, I can't let you get hurt, and if it is that horrid rider, I don't want him looking at you like he was." He snarls, glaring at the door.

He sighs, loosening his grip but not quite letting go. "Good point...But what if it wasn't the rider?"

"Then I'll finish him off for intruding on our time together." He shrugs casually.

Nick gives in. "Fine. Go," he said grudgingly, going to the room

He smiles triumphantly, unlocking the door and opening it.

It was, in fact, the boy from earlier, but he seemed to have gotten trampled by his horse...

He bursts out laughing, calling Nick to come out and see the pathetic boy.

Nick bounds outside, and staring at the boy, he cocked his head as if trying to puzzle him out

He won't stop laughing, having to bend over as he tries to catch his breath. "Y-you lost your h-horse!!"
