Kit was not going to take 'no' as an answer, "Talk." she said going into boss mom mode, meaning she was not going to back down.

Knuckles shifted to his true form. "NO." He growled back.

Remember when I said Kit wasn't going to back down? Well when Knuckles gets like that then she makes an exception, she sighed and grumbled, "Fine."

"Thank you." Knuckles replied, inclining his head.

Kit huffed and lay down rolling onto her back, the warm sunlight that was filtering down through the leaves felt so nice on her fur making it fluff up a little.

Knuckles sighed, and shifed back. ....You've been stealthily insulted. By a ghost. Happy now?

Kit flicked an ear, she started to doze off with the warm sun on her fur, her tail waving slowly, a twig snapped, "Mom?" Val called, Kit's eyes snapped open, she was instantly on her feet, "Valery?" she called in canine.

Red gestured with his head. Over there. He simply infromed her.

Val and Kit locked eyes, Val froze, "Mom? Holt told me you had been caught in the rain and ran off once you had gotten back." she said softly, Kit sighed, she sat down and said in canine, "Yeah, sorry, I just didn't want you seeing me like this." Val didn't understand what her mom was saying but the message got across.

Red watched the two. Val, if I may? Now might be a good time to start learning canine.... He suggested after a while.
