Kini looked at Ather in confusion, "What did you do?"

Aether shrugged. 'Just made him compress to a cube. Our whole bodies are formed completely out of tech, so Indigo added that little feature. Don't know why, but it tends to be useful if one of us are...out.'

Kini nodded slightly, "Well in that case get ready for a fight."

Aether grinned toothily. 'What makes you think I wasn't?' He flicked the end of his whip once, a small shower of sparks spraying from the end.

Leaf, engulfed in her cloud of mist, held her hand palm up in front of herself. Snapping her fingers, a blue light grew above it, forming a diamond-looking object. She stroked its surface. We might need you, she whispered.

Indigo closed his eyes again, but not to sleep. He thought of his sister. I wonder if she still has that Emerald-thing.. he thought. She's so obsessed...

Kini's fur was on end as he looked at the two, ''Nothing just saying."

Sonic moved at a steady pace, glancing back occasionally to make sure the others were with him. "Well, where would one take a.... uhm... a werefox?"

The echidna stopped by a slow stream and sat down by the bank, casually splashing some water on his face.

"No clue unless you're hunting an enemy," Luna thought aloud.



Ajal did the same and looked around.

Sonic frowned. "That sounds right up that creep's ally."

The look of alarm faded back into a stotic expression. "...I see." Zero replied.

Knuckles glance over at Ajal after a brief shake of his head. "What's up?"

"Nothing I just hoped to see one of the wolves or Finley this morning," Ajal smiled.


Nox kept looking over her shoulder for a while.


Luna frowned as well, "True."

"What now?" The jackal huffed.
