She quickly takes them, setting the blanket into the bowl and wrapping the bird in it gently. She looks around, spotting a nest that had fallen a few yards away. "Gotcha." She smiles, skipping inside and setting the bird on the coffee table.

It's one of those cute little short, round birds. It seems to be a nuthatch.

She looks at it, "AWW How cute!!"

(We actually have that type of nuthatch this time of year. They're so cute I just wanna squeeze and cuddle them)


He smiles softly. He reaches out to stroke the bird, but of course this freaks the bird out because it's a wild bird, not a pet.

She chuckles, sitting down.

The bird practically glares at them. It begins hopping around on the table.

She gently and slowly holds out her hand on the table.

The nuthatch hops into her hand.

She smiles brightly, gently petting it with a finger.

The bird quickly hops off with a defiant chirp.
