Upon investigation the pillar seem to be made of petrified wood, delicate looking glyph were carved on his surface.

Upon investigation the pillar seem to be made of petrified wood, delicate looking glyph were carved on his surface.
I keep the roots and then decide to examine the petrified wood.
One of his head nod the other one narow his eyes, now that the sand wasn't up anymore you could see his eight wigned paw. It seem to be waiting for somthing.
"Are you waiting for someone or something?" I ask gently.

The glyphes was runing on all the stone surface, the natural patern of the petrified wood decorating the lonely pilar. You coudn't read the strange writing but the work seemed incompleat for some raison.
