Jason released Puck and walked over to Ash,worry for his wounds clear in his hazel and purple eyes. "Iron fey,or maybe something similar." He let white markings show along his hands and offered them out to help Ash. "I'll fix them up a bit if you don't want me to heal them."

"Not if it hurts you in the process," Ash insisted. "They stole the Scepter of Seasons," Ash explained. "The Scepter of the Seasons?" Puck looked at Jason aghast. "Oh, man. So that's where the war rumors are coming from. Winter really is going to attack Summer." He glared at Ash. "So, we're at war. Perfect. Shall we save time and kill each other now, or did you want to wait until later?"

"Don't start, Goodfellow." Ash matched Puck's glare. "I didn't want this. And I have no time for a fight." He sighed, deliberately avoiding Jason's gaze. "In fact, now that youre here, you can do us both a favor. I want you to take Jason to the Summer Court."

"What? No! I'm not going,I wanna help fight!" He insisted,crossing his arms and fluffing his wings. " I don't wanna go." Soft red pulsed at the edges of his freckles and wings but it didn't seem actually angry,more orang was pulsing on the inside for frustration rather than red for anger or rage.

"That's it?" Puck asked, ignoring Jason. Ash still wasn't looking and him, and Puck rattled on without noticing. "Take him back to Court? That's easy. I was going to do that anyway, whether you liked it or not. Comes with the whole rescue thing, you know--"

Ash cut him off, talking to Jason. "I'm aware of that." Ash finally met Jason's eyes, and his gaze was cold. "But this is Winter's problem. Retrieving the scepter is my responsibility. I want you to return to a safer court, Jason. You can't help me this time. Go with Puck."

"No.Besides,is it really any safer it there's going to be war? I can help,I really can." But he clearly was hurt by the coldness in Ash's gaze,wincing away a bit and dark purple bubbling into his freckles and underwings like dark goo in a clear pond. "I'm not weak. I can help still,please." His voice grew softer the second time he spoke,as if he was giving up inside already. His dragonic letters blinked 'don't push me aside' , but most likely the others didn't understand it. Little Shade woke up and stretched,his eyes caught sight of Puck and he eeked a bit,shocked at the new arrival and not sure if it was friend or foe. Fatespeaker,seeing him as friendish person thing,came over and rubbed against one of his legs,purring a soft bubbling stream sound.

Ash didn't reply. Puck glanced from Jason to Ash and back again, looking confused. "Erm, so you're saying you don't want to go back home?" he asked Jason. "Or back with me, away from this wasteland?"

"I don't have a home,it's neither with the humans or dragons,neither have ever really wanted me. I want to be of help,not just be shoved into a mounting cavern away from court and the fighting. I don't want to be tossed house to house anymore,only to be called freak and then be tossed away like nothing,bullies following my every move! I want to be of use,even if I'm not wanted." He said,and little Shade came up to him and patted his leg as if to say 'I want you' but Jason wasn't helped by it. Fatespeaker sat on Pucks foot and seemed to be thinking this over and trying to find a good solution even though she practically wasn't even involved.

Puck shrugged. "Wow, so that totally makes the whole rescue plan a wash. You wanna throw me a bone here, Jason? I feel somewhat out of the loop." Ash still didn't speak. "And who's this?" Puck asked, looking at the little dragon sitting on his foot

He sighed and pointed to Fatespeaker. "Fatespeaker,meet Puck,Puck,the little dragon I made,Fatespeaker." He then pointed to little Shade jr by his own leg. "Puck,a little version of the old Shade but with a personality of his own. Little Shade,Puck." He pulled his hood up and sighed softly. "I didn't say I didn't want to go with you." He said softly. Little Shade leaped over to Puck and hugged his leg like it was nobody's business. Fatespeaker gave a soft smile up to the emerald eyed boy from her elegant snout,her tail thumping gently to his foot a bit. "Rrrr~!"

"All the more reason that you should return to Summer." Ash pushed himself off the pillar, wincing. Behind him, the column was smeared with red. He almost said that his emotions didn't change, that he was just trying to protect him, that he didn't want him to get hurt. He couldn't let that happen again. He sheathed his sword without looking at any of them. His shirt was sticking to his back because of the blood. "There's a spring a few yards behind this tower," he replied, walking slowly toward the door. He was trying hard not to limp. "Unless either of you object, I'm going to bathe."
