"I'm saying that you might have, somehow, gotten the light bits of Sibnele's soul to come back."

I look at Latan shocked my eyes wide and mouth parted in shock, "w-what...?" I ask in shock.

"Just because someone loses their soul, it doesn't mean it's impossible for it to return. I mean, yeah, it'll be in fragments, but still. It's a big feat." Latan grins. "And we thought darkness had permanently erased him."

"But how would I have brought some of it back...?" I say looking slightly stunned.

"Well, the fact that you apologized to him is probably part of it. I bet he wasn't expecting that. Sibnele has grown to expect the worst from people."

"Oh..." I say glancing at Sibnele smiling softly but still a little sad that he is so hurt and injured.

Latan lays a hand on your shoulder. "Hey, you don't have to be down about it. If anything, you should be really happy. Nobody thought he'd recover in any way."

"Nah... Im jus being the worried person that I always am..." I say.

"If you say so." Latan awkwardly drops his hand.

Sibnele rolls back around. Now he's facing you, and you can see that he's beginning to wake up.

I sit back against the tree twiddling a flame between my finger tips it was a smokey purple color, and glance at Latan and smile "thank you" I say to him smiling happily.
