Idiot. Obviously he isn't comfortable with talking about why he did that. She started to rub her palm with her thumb again. "Sorry for bringing it up. I guess you aren't comfortable with this and I respect that."

"It's alright." Zach mutters, swinging his feet like a whimsical child. Charlotte skips out the door and giggles, wrapping one arm around your neck and one arm around Zach's.
"Sooooooo. May I come on this journey to help defeat monsters that have escaped the Labyrinth?" Charlotte chatters.

She took Charlotte's arm off her neck. "I don't know. It's pretty dangerous. You could die. I could die. We all could. Especially if we encounter Nimmts." She muttered and shook her head as if she was trying to shake herself out of a bad dream.

"Aw, anyone could die at anytime. It's apart of life. So let's live it to the fullest and go fight some monsters!" Charlotte cheers, accidentally knocking the side of Zach's head as she twirls. Zach jumps to his feet and stops Charlotte, checking to see if the girl had cut herself on his horns, and was relieved when he found that she had not been.
"You are lucky. I advise you to not do that again." Zach says. Charlotte giggles and shrugs, clearly not taking the warning seriously.

Selene got close enough to Zach before whispering into his ear. "We can't take her with us. She's actually going to die. Her carefree childlike wonder is going to kill her."

Charlotte pauses and listens in. She whispers back, "If you don't let me come, I'll just follow you guys anyway." Zach looks at her sternly.
"You wouldn't dare." Zach whispers to her.
Charlotte sticks out her tongue, "You can't stop me."
" I will. " Zach threatens. Charlotte smiles innocently, not believing he would.

"If you follow, you will get yourself killed. I will make you stop by pushing you back inside that house and make Sam and Ray watch you like a hawk to make sure you don't leave. Understood?"

"I'll convince them to come with us!" Charlotte says. "You really can't stop me, so might as well just let me come."
"What happened to children remembering to respect their elders." Zach growls.
"Nothing. I'm just not one of them." Charlotte says, not really processing what s he just said.

She groaned before pushing Charlotte back inside. "You aren't coming with us. It's dangerous, and you could die. That's final."

"I will listen to you and do whatever you ask! I promise!" Charlotte complains, flopping like a boneless fish in your direction.
"Make sure she stays safe." Zach says to Ray and Sam as he closes the door. Charlotte's wails and cries can be heard even though there is a door between you and her now.
