"You're right though. Darrizi are super uncommon here." She hadn't quiet processed the whole 'rest of your life' thing, but once she did, Zeth choked a little.

Clearing her throat, she spoke once more.
"I'm sorry, did you say 'spend the rest of their lives with,' like as in partner?" A smile crept over her face as she asked. That idea was pretty funny to her. While Yuko made a great friend, he wasn't her type. If anything, he was more like a kid brother.

Aesis
"We typically do not get assigned to any planet in great numbers. Many of us are still very much needed on Proxima or elsewhere and we try to be very conservative of our manpower."
He decided to cave, munching on a few of the crystals in curiosity.
"..Yes, I did. You two are.. a couple, I believe the Earth term is, yes?" He asked as he had finished the bite.

Zeth

What started . as a small chuckle, ended in a hysterical laughter.
"Oh god no. He wishes."
She had to wipe a tear from her eye. That was a good laugh, she needed that.
"What the hell gave you that stupid idea?"

Aesis
He just gave her a smile, munching on another bite of gems.

Scias
Sure enough, Scias came to the front to give an answer, sighing in relief.
"..Oh thank god..
I know it's been six months.. But I was kinda expecting you to just move on and everything especially since I wasn't expecting to see you again or anything.. So when I saw him.."
He rubbed the back of his head. "..yeah.."

Zeth

She smiled understandingly, completely relating to his worry.
"Oh I see. Lil' Jelly got jealous. And no, despite you leaving me nearly fatally wounded...on a couch, I am painfully loyal."
Her smile faded ever so slightly, the memories of the last six months coming to her at once.
" Seriously, it hurt sometimes."

Scias
"Did I not patch you up and save your life in the first place?"
Scias asked defensively.
"..Look, I don't get a choice in where and when the Council decides to recall us.."

Aesis
"Except now, really. They can't recall a man they cannot find."
Aesis said it almost with a measure of triumph.
"Although this isn't exactly the result I was intending to go for. It pains me to know how many more Daarizi will die attempting to gain their freedom until they are stopped."

Scias
"..Bummer, dude. But it's not like this planet's state is really any better right now. As bad as Proxima is, I know Earth still has pockets of those Orias Upega guys lurking around somewhere.. Wouldn't doubt we ran into a few earlier that may have recognized us.
We definitely need to be more careful out there."
He rubbed the back of his head.

"So I gotta ask, Zeth, how'd you even end up back here if you're some kind of big shot galactic bounty hunter anyways?"

Zeth

"I guess you did save my life, I owe you that."
She hadn't even thought about how to answer his next question. Sometimes the truth isn't an option, and now is most assuredly one of those times. The truth is a dangerous thing, and these days it seemed to be chasing her. All she could do was run.
"I'm not as grand as you're making it out to be. If you must know, I had heard you were down here, so though I'd stay for a while. It was a great excuse to get away for a while. I needed the break, badly."

Scias
He stared at her with a raised eyebrow. He was clearly very skeptical of that.
"I can believe the break part, but I'm honestly the last person anyone goes looking for. What, did you miss me so much your hair turned blue too?"
He reached over to flick a strand of it with a bit of a smirk.

Zeth

"Very funny. No. I didn't like the way the pink looked, so I changed it to match my eyes. You know, Traqil would have had so much fun teasing me about it."
By then, she had fully finished off her meal, taking the plate into the kitchen.
"Let me know when you're done and I'll come get your plate. Give me a second though, I better check on Yuko"



Yuko

He was propped out on the porch, taking in the last of the sunset (just my assumption on the time of day, correct me if I'm wrong). He heard Zeth coming and quickly sat up.
"Hi! How was it? I hope it suited your fancy."


Zethrin

"Oh, it was great. Thank you. I just came to see how you were holding up. I know you haven't soaked up sun since yesterday, so I was worried. I do need to mention something though. So my friend back there doesn't know about him. I need you not to bring it up. What he doesn't know can't hurt him."


Yuko

"But you told me you trusted him...never mind, I understand. My lips are sealed."


Zethrin

She nodded gratefully, heading back in.
"Yuko is fine. He is just 'charging' per say. He'll be in by sun set."

Hexic been sitting in corner listening to this. He felt a little uncomfortable, but there was nothing he could do about that. So he hide in corner and wait.
