Janet giggled, starting to eat her food.

Austyn manages, somehow, to talk and yet steadily eat his food without being rude and talking with his mouth full. Ray only half listens, trying to plan ahead. He thought he could leave after this to start continuing to defeat his monsters. He would really feel sad since he didn't want to leave this friendly people, but he knew he had to leave eventually and best to leave before he became any more emotionally attached to them.

Janet looked up and saw Micah talking in a frustrated manner, waving his hands around. She frowned and poked Austyn, pointing at Micah. "I think he's upset."

Austyn and Ray both look up. Austyn frowns and gets up. "I'll go see what's wrong." He says, and quickly skips over. He listens to the conversation for a little bit before attempting to jump in.

Micah notices Austyn and frowns, no longer talking and instead just flashing an annoyed glare at Tate, another of Demeter's children. Tate glanced up at Austyn, silently asking him to help her.

Austyn stands next to Tate and asks her to explain. He would take any one of their side's depending on the situation, but he first had to understand what was happening first.

Tate hesitated, nervously watching Micah. "I said that Micah shouldn't be so quick to trust Ray, and he certainly shouldn't let Janet be around him so much because eventually he's gotta leave, and that'd hurt Janet. After that Micah just started ranting," she mumbled. Micah just continued glaring at her.

Austyn waves a hand in front of Micah, wondering if the guy was just staring off into space. "Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree with Tate. I mean... You said yourself he just fell from the sky, claiming that an army of monsters were coming. And when he leaves..." He couldn't pretend Janet would not be heart broken. "He will leave, Micah. It's just a matter of time."

Micah looked up at Austyn, clearly frustrated. He started to protest, then fell silent and looked down. "I know. We were talking about it this morning. I just don't want him to leave."

Austyn came over and pats Micah's head. "I understand that." He says, not quite sure what else to say that wasn't going to be annoying or teasing Micah about liking Ray. So he kept silent. "Well, since I'm pretty sure this is all figured out, I'm going to go back and eat. And hope Janet and Ray hasn't eaten my food..." He says, and slowly backs away after letting Tate know that if there was ever another problem to ask him for help.
