You turn back into a human in that moment. As the two kidnappers exchange unsure glances, the first one says, "My name is Asherah, and she over there," Asherah pauses and glances at the other guard.
"That's Delja"
"UGH! Look, just sign this and we'll be good."
She hands you a contract. When you unravel it, it says 'SIGNING THIS CONTRACT MEANS THAT YOU WILL GLADLY JOIN US' and some scribbles you couldn't make out.

You find out that it's NOT an egg and just a Sylvorpa that was neatly curled in a ball.
You could try to bring it back to the lab and convince the Shopkeeper to make the Taming Spray a suitable price or leave the Sylvorpa alone.
