"That would be just fine captain," Kit agrees still glaring at Terrin, "Thank you for letting me come."
Terrin smiles weakly worried about his relationship with his sister, "Alright then whenever you're ready to set sail so are we."

Sharky headed down the hatch to hunt down the extra hammocks he had stored there. On impulse he checked the room off of the galley. It was empty but dusty. Grabbing a broom he gave it a good sweep. Once everything was in order he hung up one of the hammocks and headed back for the top deck humming a little tune to himself.

Meanwhile Eggman was busy sneaking into the ruins. Somewhere there had to be more information on these lost artifacts. Even knowing what he was looking for he would have to search every nook and cranny in case there was a secret room or passage. He had a few small spybots with him, but that was all.

He could not bring in his full team of bots unless he dealt with that little fox, and if he went after Tails it would alert a certain blue hedgehog that he was up to something. A pity it was no longer possible to trick Knucklehead into doing his dirty work. The Echidna would be useful in finding and translating the ancient texts. Grumbling he went back to his search. The sooner he finished the sooner he could get out of Tails neighborhood undetected.

After a while Kit goes down into the hatch and dropped her few posetions near the hammock. She was still angry with Terrin but chose not to show it. Sighing she went back upstairs to check over where she would be working.

Terrin flies up and searches for anything of possible trouble or value. After a few minutes he flies back down to the ship searching for anything else that he could do.

Tarka, somewhat bored at the moment, hopped to his feet and curiously trailed a few feet a bit behind Kit. He didn't say anything until he saw her leave the room with the hammock. Once she did, however, he quickly closed the distance between them and chirruped in greeting. "G'day! Er, or ahoy there, which ever you prefer!" He chimed. "Y'said your name was Kit, right?"

Kit's tail bristled then went back to normal, "Hello yes my name is Kit. What is your name? Did the captain hire you?"

"The name's Tarka, Tak for short!" The peppy lyrebird responded, fanning his tail in greeting. "...And, er, no, I'm not hired," He added, glancing awkwardly to the side but quickly perking up again. "But crikey, that's actually a bloody good idea! Gettin' paid to travel? What could be more perfect? I'll have to ask 'bout that."

"It's not a cruise and sorry if I sound mean it's just Terrin has my tail all in knots," Kit responds, "It's nice to meet you Tarka? Maybe you could convince the captain?"

Tak flashed Kit a brief smirk. "Shouldn't be too hard, we're already mates." He assured her.

Kit smiles liking Tak already, "Just watch your back around Terrin and if he tries anything tell me and I'll slice off his tailfeathers for you."
