Silence blinked, then narrowed his eyesockets. He'd investigate this later. For now, he decided to make his job here swift. Raising his scythe, he slashed through the slick black paint that ensnared a few gilded sheets of paper. After gathering the papers and repeating the process a few more times, he glanced around briefly and escaped the hub.

Papyrus stumbled back, catching Undyne before she hit the ground. "Woah, hey, Undyne, what're you doing all the way out here? You hate the heat--" He paused abruptly, shooting Currence a glare. "Who're you?"

Vantablack's tendrils curled slightly, dripping iridescent black paint. Whether the motion was intentional or more of a tick that came whith his condition was unclear.
"Actually, no, that isn't why I'm here." He spoke with a sinister grin. "Silence will return to confront me again as always, and the AU's arn't going anywhere. But right now? I sensed a new presence, followed it here, and I'm glad I did. You seem far more interesting. Now, tell me, what's a being like you doing in this part of the multiverse?"

"I think you've overstayed your welcome." With that, he launched into attack, fluid tentacles already working to ensanre thier next victim.
